I watched a China Uncensored video yesterday where they were showing videos of people sleeping rough in the subway stations because of the heat and the air-conditioning in the subway. Im in China now. In Chongqing. There are some in the subways, but usually some old women and kids mostly. Also some elderly men. Some of them have medical conditions, like a stroke, and they can’t afford the air conditioning at home, and it’s very hot here. So they go to the metro, to relax, and also meet some other people. The kids, they seem to take down to play because too hot outside. Here in Chongqing, it’s hell outside in the day time heat. I didn’t see any homeless women or people for a long time. Could be that the government deports them out of the city, or because I am in quite a wealthy area. There screwed here if they get sick, and don’t have a family. They have to pay hospital bills, no insurance, and can’t get work.

I have to disagree with Legion of Men on one point. It is Modern day feminism that is the problem. Only China won't even call it that because it was government imposed. When China did the one child law, the families that had a daughter began to push the approach of raising males onto the women. They wanted them to succeed in both personal and professional life. They they pushed academics early. Personal relationships were ignored. They went to college to seek a profession. Only those professions are the same ones women traditionally went into which were both lower paying and began to see an increase in female degree holders and those women left university. They then spent the next five to ten years focusing only on their career. When they hit the wall around 28, many of them realized that they simply hadn't ever been in a commited relationship. The professional men their age, were looking for women in their young 20s and not +30. So the women were aging out of the fertility window, they had professional lives, and they also carried professional debt. And because they were in respectable white collar jobs they were looking for the golden bachelors who simply weren't interested in getting into a relationship with them. Ultimately the problem was that when men hit 30, they are still in their prime. Hell, they haven't even hit there financial stride yet. Women though are on the downward side of their fertility and the things they thought men would care about (wealth, education, and job status) they discovered the men they wanted to attract simply don't care about those things. The want young, fertile, and docile women. Not women who are aggressive in both professional and home life, expect men to play more of a role at home regardless of their job or income, and who want to control the household. Im 62 years old and 19 years into my second marriage. I tell men who want to be happy to date/marry a NON WESTERNIZED Asian woman. The key words are Non WESTERNIZED. It looks like its much more difficult in the world of cellphones and social media but its still possible. My wife is old school Vietnamese and simply wanted to be loved, safe and protected. I had just come out of a twenty year marriage with a cheating village bicycle and was broke as fuck. My current wife still saw that i was a hard working non abusive man and fell in love with me. Im now fully retired, we live on 104 thousand dollars a year and life is good. She simply wants to be in charge of the home....curtains, decor, etc and she wants me to make all external decisions and protect the family. She is feminine and attentive and does not compete with me. So....my advice is meet and date a non American woman who is from a rural setting and is not brainwashed by the big city attitude.

But all these luxurious items, my friend got blamed for buying them, even though the purchases did not come from her card but from her husband's card... kneeling for hours on the floor getting lectured, with no apology She gave birth to this beautiful daughter, and the only word she got from her husband were couldn't even be a son, I mean the guy had been told the gender 4 months, but for some reason his mom had him convinced it would be a son, that whole situation was a nightmare for my friend. She came to America though, because her husband moved the mistress into their home, and she was worried that she would get blamed for injuring the mistress, so she decided to divorce, and that was a long drawn-out process where she was painted to be the villain and bad wife. But she eventually came to america, because she was actually very educated I mean she was my friend so she speaks English and I met her online years ago some sort of pen pal type thing when I was young... The government runs industry in China and pays itself well. China's homogeneity also gives rise to the idea that they have no sense of racism. When I taught English in China, they literally had job postings saying white Americans and English people get the highest pay, then Chinese get 2nd highest, then blacks get 3rd highest. Literal racism built into the pay structure, but they don't really care about racism. They also view race as meaning a different culture, so Japanese and Korean and Thai are all different races, even though in the west we would lump them all together as the 'Asian' race. So their definitions of race and expectations about race are different from the west. I don't expect China to become Westernized ever. They don't care what the west thinks about their superior culture.

The kids, they seem to take down to play because too hot outside. Here in Chongqing, it’s hell outside in the day time heat. I didn’t see any homeless women or people for a long time. Could be that the government deports them out of the city, or because I am in quite a wealthy area. There screwed here if they get sick, and don’t have a family. They have to pay hospital bills, no insurance, and can’t get work.

Our current drastic rise is the disposability of people is due primarily to two overriding factors, an overabundance of people and a diminishment in their utility. Post WW2 there was a pronounced scarcity of capable working people due to the terrible losses suffered and consequently there was an increase in the utility of people because much of the world needed to be rebuilt. However, this dynamic was temporary.
The renewal of society after the war led to a baby boom in much of the world. The terrible war was over and the reconstruction of the world and advancement into modernity created a great environment for population growth. This huge baby boom, something the Chinese have labeled as "societal dividend", has produced a labor force that is large and cheap. This swing in the eternal cycle would not necessarily have been any more harsh than past cycles, except for another factor ... industrial automation. Automation that was ushered in, first with the industrial revolution, then put on steroids with the information revolution, has vastly diminished the utility of man in the economy. Thus, we have a perfect storm of greatly increased supply and greatly reduced utility.
You can put any label you want on this phenomenon, but it has existed as long as humans have existed, and it won't change. It's baked into the human machine. You can go back to your fondness for evolutionary psychology, and you will find the root cause. Humans are an evolved survival engine. We find value in everything around us as it pertains to our survival and flourishment, and that value is based on its utility to us and the scarcity of it.
So ... what is the primary mechanism that helped balance this dynamic? Morality / Religion. Religion and in a broader sense, morality, have been in decline for decades. It's that part of our culture that says, don't kill your neighbor and take his property. Don't abuse people with the power that you have been given to advance your selfish gains. Without morality, humanity is just another part of the animal kingdom; just another biological organism struggling to survive in a dangerous environment of scarcity and in competition with all others looking to do the same.

Corporations & women in the workforce
I have to disagree with Legion of Men on one point. It is Modern day feminism that is the problem. Only China won't even call it that because it was government imposed. When China did the one child law, the families that had a daughter began to push the approach of raising males onto the women. They wanted them to succeed in both personal and professional life. They they pushed academics early. Personal relationships were ignored. They went to college to seek a profession. Only those professions are the same ones women traditionally went into which were both lower paying and began to see an increase in female degree holders and those women left university. They then spent the next five to ten years focusing only on their career. When they hit the wall around 28, many of them realized that they simply hadn't ever been in a commited relationship. The professional men their age, were looking for women in their young 20s and not +30. So the women were aging out of the fertility window, they had professional lives, and they also carried professional debt. And because they were in respectable white collar jobs they were looking for the golden bachelors who simply weren't interested in getting into a relationship with them.
Ultimately the problem was that when men hit 30, they are still in their prime. Hell, they haven't even hit there financial stride yet. Women though are on the downward side of their fertility and the things they thought men would care about (wealth, education, and job status) they discovered the men they wanted to attract simply don't care about those things. The want young, fertile, and docile women. Not women who are aggressive in both professional and home life, expect men to play more of a role at home regardless of their job or income, and who want to control the household.
In short Modern Feminism.

Im 62 years old and 19 years into my second marriage. I tell men who want to be happy to date/marry a NON WESTERNIZED Asian woman. The key words are Non WESTERNIZED. It looks like its much more difficult in the world of cellphones and social media but its still possible. My wife is old school Vietnamese and simply wanted to be loved, safe and protected. I had just come out of a twenty year marriage with a cheating village bicycle and was broke as fuck. My current wife still saw that i was a hard working non abusive man and fell in love with me. Im now fully retired, we live on 104 thousand dollars a year and life is good. She simply wants to be in charge of the home....curtains, decor, etc and she wants me to make all external decisions and protect the family.
She is feminine and attentive and does not compete with me.
So....my advice is meet and date a non American woman who is from a rural setting and is not brainwashed by the big city attitude.

What are my friends, sadly her maternal family did not back her up in her marriage, because her maternal family was too busy trying to use the in-laws connections to get money for their son's business... but my friend was treated horribly, they had a maid, but they had the friend do some of the most demeaning tasks, like cleaning the bathroom floor.
The husband was blatantly having an affairs, and had a mistress setup in an apartment...
But all these luxurious items, my friend got blamed for buying them, even though the purchases did not come from her card but from her husband's card... kneeling for hours on the floor getting lectured, with no apology
She gave birth to this beautiful daughter, and the only word she got from her husband were couldn't even be a son, I mean the guy had been told the gender 4 months, but for some reason his mom had him convinced it would be a son, that whole situation was a nightmare for my friend.
She came to America though, because her husband moved the mistress into their home, and she was worried that she would get blamed for injuring the mistress, so she decided to divorce, and that was a long drawn-out process where she was painted to be the villain and bad wife.
But she eventually came to america, because she was actually very educated I mean she was my friend so she speaks English and I met her online years ago some sort of pen pal type thing when I was young...
And as we got older we shared emails and photos and stuff.. apparently you can use like vpns as long as you aren't a certain ethnic group, and they aren't looking for a reason to arrest you .xD
But what she came to America she became the perfect conservative housewife

China has a two tiered economic system (which in the west would be called corporate fascism) where gov't workers make about 6 times what non gov't workers make, so being in the communist party and having a cushy job in one of the government driven industries like banking or airlines is the goal of all Chinese youth. The government runs industry in China and pays itself well. China's homogeneity also gives rise to the idea that they have no sense of racism. When I taught English in China, they literally had job postings saying white Americans and English people get the highest pay, then Chinese get 2nd highest, then blacks get 3rd highest. Literal racism built into the pay structure, but they don't really care about racism. They also view race as meaning a different culture, so Japanese and Korean and Thai are all different races, even though in the west we would lump them all together as the 'Asian' race. So their definitions of race and expectations about race are different from the west. I don't expect China to become Westernized ever. They don't care what the west thinks about their superior culture.
well thats the opposite here. You do government work and you will be paid a third of what the private sector pays for the same type of job. US government now subcontracts those government jobs so they don't need to pay benefits or retirements either. Good bye pensions. Many US citizens have "government" work and don't even know it because they were hired by the staffing company that pays half of what the job should be paying then keep the profits for themselves.
