    They make excellent fertilizer in the garden. I put them under the tomatoes and squash. Not really 100% sure how good of a fertilizer they really are but it’s better than wasting it.

      @@grandwonder5858 my cat seems to like them so you may be right. Never thought about eating one. Get you a couple and let us know how it turns out. Wrap them in bacon with a slice of jalapeño and throw them on the grill....

    That's a good starling.

    The only good starling is a dead starling. I call them the flying rat. And the house sparrow is the flying mouse. Ya have to kill mice and rats same as starlings and house sparrows. Good job sir.

      You are correct! I’ve never had trouble with sparrows, yet. But I’m confident my repeating trap can catch them. A sparrow and blue bird are very close to the same size.
      Thanks for watching our videos, and commenting on them as well!!!

      Can't blame the starling for outcompeting the 'native' species. That's evolution and the weak shall perish.
      Same with people who complain about too many crows, magpies or whatever. I always tell them, guess what, there are so many corvids because *you* are there. Those birds are the most intelligent and tough, surviving even in the most notorious biological deserts, overpopulated by apex predator two-legged monkeys, filled to the brim with concrete and asphalt, motorized traffic, plastic trash and, at best, pesticide oozing non-native domesticated plants of agriculture or the common middle class karen's backyard.
      God bless those so-called pests.

      @@westelaudio943 Not all the Starlings currently in N.A can be killed anyway, too much unattended space to do that.
      It's about making enough of a dent to give native species a chance, and it's working.

    Please kill every starling that you catch! Don’t relocate them and let them be somebody else’s problem!

    • @ddd3240
      @ddd3240 3 роки тому +1

      That’s not exactly how it works. Very hard to relocate a bird. Most have a pretty good homing instinct. They are an invasive species and do a great deal of damage to our native songbirds.

    That's horrible! They didn't ask to come here. Killing a Starling isn't going to save a purple martin. Birds compete for nests because trees are being cut down. Killing another animal is not part of life, it's you killing another animal.

    • @jeffeubanks370
      @jeffeubanks370  2 роки тому +3

      Martins and starlings compete for cavity nest sites, as well as blue birds. Martins and blue birds are no match for starlings. The starlings will kill martins and blue birds. And by controlling nonnative nest site competitors martins and blue birds are able to nest and continue survive

      They are not protected here
      They kill Martins Woodpeckers and bluebirds so the only good starling is a dead starling

      @@jeffeubanks370 Pay no attention to the brainwashed fools. They have no idea the destruction invasive species cause and are nothing but hypocrites. They don't put up with flies, termites, mice, snakes, yellow jackets, wasp, bedbugs, fleas in their house or yard, nor the cute little rodents eating the wiring on their car causing major repair bills. Native birds are very benificial for us and nature but those invasive birds destroy the natural eco system. English sparrows, starlings are simply, filthy, Flying Rats !
