Welcome to my channel
In 1915, my great grandparents established a 200-acre farm in north Georgia. They survived off the land by planting all types of vegetables as well as cotton and wheat. Chickens, pigs, and cows were raised for sustainability as well as a few squirrels and rabbits here and there.
The remaining 5 acres of the original tract of land has been passed all the way down to myself and my family. We are trying to glean a little of what my ancestors learned to survive off the land not too long ago. Currently, we are raising honey bees, goats, and chickens.
I like to smoke my pipe shoot my guns and ride my tractor!!

I have a 2015 toyota Tundra! No problems, not 1. I left the big 3 lone time ago. I had a Ford, dodge, and Chevy. They all suck!
Get a 1974 edition Toyota tundra they have like long beds and great engines and are decent on gas 20 mpg combined with 18 city and 23 on the highway or you can get a sequoia or regular tundra which has the i force max twin turbo v8

@@jeffeubanks370 I hear Toyota’s are good, & easy to work ok. I have a ‘85 ford van that’s been sitting in my driveway for about 15 yrs. It lasted a long time before the carburetor failed. Nobody works on carburetors anymore. Driving a Tahoe now. 👍

@@richardgash2349 right now we’re on the east coast of Florida, thank goodness. So far we have had reports of some rain at the house. We’re I just south of Daytona Beach, Florida. So we are not in the path of the storm. But it does look like we have a very good chance for rain at the house.

Hey. Yep, we need rain!!🙏 I remember accidentally touching an electric fence! Was shocking (😂) but definitely survived it!
Hot & dry is normal here, but at least we’ve dropped below 100 for a few days. Supposed to go back up next week though. Only animals I have are gophers & crickets. Hate them both. Hope you get some rain soon.

@@aaronparis4714 I’ve come to realize that I don’t want any more than 10 hives. That supplies me with plenty of honey, and keeps me from having complete burn out on the bees. Folks who have never keep bees don’t realize the work that is involved.

I am so sorry for your health struggles and not feeling well-with all the health issues I have had the last 15 months and now this failed hernia surgery and no answers in sight, I feel for you as you try to get answers and relief. Sending many prayers your way.
@@buffyhamilton I’m actually feeling a little better, as far as the vertigo and motion sickness, thank God!! But this stenosis in my neck is not showing any sign of improvement. I go back to the doctor for my 2 week checkup after the injection this Friday. We’ll see what happens. Thanks for your prayers and love my dear friend!!

Holy smokes, you just can’t catch a break can you. The hand thing now the neck thing. You do what you have to do to free you up from pain. Get the drs. that know what they’re doing so it doesn’t mess you up worse. I struggle with a pinched nerve in my lower back due to a degenerating disc & when that gets pinched it will drop me, & that’s a lot to drop. I grab hold of whatever I can to keep from going down. Makes sleeping a bit tricky. Hoping you get it all worked out for the best. 🙏. 👍😃☀️🌵

Hey, Jeff - I have severe, advanced cervical spinal stenosis. It doesn't get better! Epidurals are just a stop-gap measure, and when your nerve pain gets really bad, painkillers won't touch it. Been there, done that. I'll be having spinal fusion surgery on October 1st to avoid permanent arm damage and eventual paralysis. You MUST consult experts about this. Don't put it off. It won't improve. Best wishes. Prayed for ya!

@jeffeubanks370 I haven't either but surely they have more answers.. Otherwise, your gonna have to go see the Doc that fixed Mama.. He doesn't go from the front to back.. He says that just too invasive

There is a guy down in the part of GA i use to live in that you can pay and he brings his herd of goats and a portable fence and they do a good job of cleaning places up. Good idea about them getting their head stuck in the fence. Goats are bad about that

Thanks for the tips, Jeff. I caught my first starling today with this type of trap which is amazing because its the end of August!
