Thank you. I watched every installment. Steven and Luke weren’t allowed to laugh once. How I used to wait each week for the three minutes each week they allotted this storyline. And in the end, Luke was killed as senselessly as Ted Dinard. Gays weren’t allowed happy endings at a time we needed them most, the mid 1980s.

They deserved better😭If this was story was happening in 2024 nobody would care if they were showing affection to each other since gay stories have become so common. Damn you homophobic 80’s!
Today, just days away from the year 2021, this gay storyline seems silly. Filled with apologetic language and made-up excuses. There was one point where Luke says he "CARES for Steven, but he "LOVED" his wife Claudia. Wow, that is not so suttie homophobia in the writing. Today two men can have children and it be a family just like a straight couple. A gay man can look forward to a husband, a home, and children. But just think about it. It took us 40 years to get here, and be recognized as a family.
It was silly even for back then. But it was for mass consumption TV so everything was tiptoeing. The most affection Luke and Steven had were bro hugs. They had as much chemistry as oil and water.
@@williehooper4766 I'd attribute that to the show being a big hit on a major network. The directors/producers always kept them apart. Tales of the City was on PBS 10 years later. It was more of an independent show. Campbell is a superior actor than Coleman even in these clips, I'd give you that.
@@TimeIdle I'll watch it because it is representation... and Dynasty was THE camptastic soap of my childhood dreams pre-1987.... But I applaud Billy for fully committing to the role in 1985. Jack always seem so hesitant about it. And I know... different times....
From memory (from seeing it about 25 years ago), so possibly not entirely accurate: I don’t remember if they ever get to move in together, but at some point, Blake calls Luke into his study and they have some sort of argument/scuffle. Blake pushes Luke who stumbles on something, hits his head on the corner of a mantelpiece, and dies.
@@kokoshneta Actually that was Ted who met that fate in season one. Blake walks in on Steven and Ted hugging each other And pulls Ted off Steven and TED hits his head on the fire-place grate and dies. Blake goes on trial for Ted's murder and the season ends with a surprise witness entering the courtroom
@@kokoshneta Luke was killed at Amanda's wedding. If I remember correctly, he was shot during the wedding massacre because he was shielding Claudia from a bullet. How ironic it that? The man is killed in an attempt to save the life of his boyfriend's ex-wife.
See James's comment. That is what happened. Luke was Steven's 2nd love. HIs first one, Ted, is the one that Blake gets in the argument with and it leads to his death.
Looking at this year's later Luke really played Steven really hard. He persued him big style until Steven broke. Steven was fragile and Luke trulely knew this.
To any fan of this show, to try the alter the real ending of this was a travestry. That and the fact that you butchered this into tiny pieces like this means you care more about click counts, Subscription$, and ad revenue than this story. That earns you a THUMBS DOWN and a click of "don't recommend channel"
Thanks for giving us the illusion of a happy ending.

Billy Campbell was one of the coolest, nicest actors I've ever met
Where and when had you the chance to meet that handsome devil, mate?

Poor Luke - got caught up with mixed up Steven and ended up dead.
Thanks for showing the show
It help me at bad time of my life
Great ending
Thank you for this Compilation
Well, at least these actors didn't pat each other when they hugged.
Well done and thank you. Luke Fuller was a bloody handsome devil :)
Oh my gosh,Dynasty reminds me when I was a teen,I always watched the TV series with my sister, thank you..
Thank you for great happy ending. Luke should have survive the attack lost his vision and Steven could care for him.
Thank you for the uploading, great work
Indeed!
Thanks! Loved it better than the first time!
I loved Jack Coleman and "his" Steven😍😍😍😍😍
Me too.
He is *the* Steven for me. 😍
Me too
They paid the maid off 😉
Why did they have to kill luke off
Thx for the happy ending.

02:16, Steven's really looking at Adam, not Claudia!
Thank you.
Such a lovely place to leave them. 😍🙏🏽🌈💖
Virginia Hawkins (Jeanette) was just as beautiful as the rest of this cast.
When Tv didn't allow to make it gayer. Where are the kisses??!!!!!
Looks like a Marijuana leaf on her sweater lol.
One of them did get a happy ending.
Why can't they kiss.
A hug......are they brothers?
No, they were a gay couple on network TV in the mid 1980s ..
How about. A Steven and Bart storyline ?
It was pointless to kill off Luke. The show ended in 1989 and then the Reunion was filmed with the other Steven and his partner. Could’ve been Luke.
Post the whole episode

@@TimeIdle We’ll attribute that to Jack Coleman. Billy had good chemistry with both Michaels in the Tales of the City mini series.

There is no chemistry between those 2
More like they were restricted. Don’t be dumb
Väldigt bra scen tycker jag Steven flyttar ihop med sin pojkvän vad bra tycker jag 💋💋👄👄👊👊👍👍😅😅
Heather was so young then 😒
Well, the story not very good n pretty silly at time but it was a step toward what we have today...
It was bold and groundbreaking for its time.

Luke gets killed during the wedding :(
WHAT😢😭NOOOOO
Not really.. he survived the shootout, he died afterwards due to the head wound
@@bobcat5392 who killed him?

Luke looks so much like me, back when I was in my early 20's.
