Gotta admit I went from GM to ford to Ram and now looking back at these 2022s in a RCSB Silverado ... they did make em so much user friendly compared to others ... Ty for sharing
2021 Silverado Custom ------ Great video, direct and to the point. I went with the suggested LASFIT for both high/low beam, reverse, plate, and front turn signal (this was by far the simplest install). Installed about a month ago. The lights are significantly brighter than the factory halogens. I did not make any aim adjustments after the install. I have only been bright light flashed when it is raining so I am going to follow the aim adjustment guidance by LASFIT so I can avoid blinding oncoming traffic.
Thanks for the video boss, just watched it on Sunday and got all the pieces that you put in the description off of Amazon for faster shipping. Just installed everything this morning and it’s looking real badass at night. Thanks for the suggestion!
I can't freaking believe how easy it is to do compared to my 2008 Silverado! You got to take off damn near the whole front end just to replace a bulb!!! The 2002 were really easy. You simply twist and pull a small bar shaft and the headlight assembly would slide out.
The owners manual says to not install LED lights in the 2020 custom to replace factory incandescent bulbs. It sites potential damage to the electrical system. Stock headlight bulbs can't be incandescent........right???
Great video man short and to the point. I have a 2023 custom and just changed all mine out. Shame they can’t come that way. I also changed my turn signals up front to LED
Driver's side is tricky if you got big forearms and its hard to get them in straight as well, I am wondering if the washer fluid tank can be dropped easily for folks with large arms? 2021 Custom Trailboss
I saw someone on here comment that, that's what they did to make it easier. They had to move the wheel liner (plastic piece inside the vender) to get access to move the fluid tank out of the way.
I had a lot of trouble getting mine into the front housing and turning them to lock. I had better luck removing the ring and the gasket from the LED, and pushing them in. I took the factor light, pushed it into the hole, and was able to easily turn and lock the ring. after that, i pushed the led into the hole, and the install was finished.
Got the lights installed thanks for video, question the old halogen bulbs turned to lock into place these H11 dont seem to slide and lock in they just sit in place. Is this accurate?
the led bulbs have 2 pieces (the locking part ur talking about and the led itself) instead of 1 like the oem ones. The first piece is what locks into the headlight and the led just sits in it snug (you would still be able to turn the led bulb by hand which I'm sure is what ur asking about)
