Thanks for testing this. I'm 4c and might use for quick stretching only. That would be something I would have to be conscious of if using this and remember it is a heat styling tool

I just got a Remington. I got kinky hair. I realized that one had to run the brush through the hair more than one time. The more you brush through, the sleeker the look. I also found out that the brush will not harm your head when going for the roots. You can feel the heat but not a lot. I just put a heat protector spray on my hair, comb through and then use the tool. What you should have done after you had finished was to continually brush through your hair for about 15 more minutes. The longer you brush it, the sleeker the look.

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this review video. I searched for this product and couldn't find it but I did find the Remington Pro 2 in 1 Straightener that gave the same results. I have a 7 year old who is extremely tender headed. Her hair comes to her waist and it is thick and curly. I can never comb her hair dry so I always have product in before detangling. This time I wet her hair with a spritz gun, finger detangled it and sectioned... Then I broke thise sections into smaller section and used my Denman brush. Once it was dry I put on a heat protectant spray and use the Straightener. Omg it was perfection. She cried once just because there were a few tangles in her kitchen but after she saw what the first pass through looked like she was sold. I will send you pics on IG. For 3 yrs I have been trying to find something to help manage all of this hair. It's so much easier to style and I like that it's not bone straight. I used the medium setting which worked perfect for her hair texture. Thank you again. ❤

You should try the combined hair dryer and straightening brush, it dries and straightens your hair beautifully and at low temps

I thought about getting ome like this. But i probably wont use it. I only straighten my hair twice a year and thats just to get an accurate clipping of my ends. And my hair has grown ALOT over the past 2 years

I suck at blow drying my hair an I mostly need blowouts when I get my braids and protective styles so I'll be investing in this

I have one but it's more like a comb than a brush, I guess if it's smaller it does a much better job, I also run mine slowly through my hair, it comes out straighter than yours.

Tika Mosley I’m in the same boat. I’m 38 with two kids and woke up one day and looked in the mirror like where did I go. Kim has been a great inspiration for me also and I’ve updated my wardrobe and makeup using her tips.

start with the brush inverted like it's laying on it's back side and then flip your wrist as you come down the hair you will get a straighter look. I don't like mine bone straight I like some texture showing.

I think this its best to blow dry with a blow dryer attachment or round brush using a clear serum. That gives a sleek base for any style. Hair looks so silky without even using the flat Iron. Then if you do decide to follow up with the flat iron you’ll get silk press type results. Speaking from experience ladies!

Aww, I had high hopes for this. I bought a brush straightener and the black coating started peeling off if the ceramic bristles. I would have to manually removed the pieces from my hair😕

I think this would be an awesome product for getting a little girls hair ready for a style or braids. My daughter is 20 with autism, and she has had super long hair all her life, and she cries when she gets her hair done ( doesnt matter how gentle i am, something about the way her brain is wired makes her EXTREMELY tender headed) . This would BE A LIFESAVER!!!

I have one with heat settings. It makes my hair straight, but it is hard to clean between the brush iron plates so I think it would be expensive considering you have to replace it yearly for hygiene purposes.

I have a 1 step Revlon brush, and it makes my hair super soft and nice. It also makes it kind of straight so I tried out a straightening brush similar to this one I used TYMO after I used the brush and that helped a lot I recommend doing that❤

I have refused to use this brush on my natural hair so far. I’m too afraid lol it does give a nice blowout look tho. I never expected the brush to straighten natural hair into a silky look, it’s great for Brazilian tho. Best thing to travel with

  • @journeythroughthree

It is quick but for kinkier hair, it's doesn't straighten like a pressing comb or flat iron! You just can't get to your roots. I use it to just strength my hair after wash day.

You should try the bed head smooth operator, You can touch the bristles to you head because the inside gets hot, not the actual bristles so you can’t burn yourself
