Resin crushed 'velvet' effect tray
I used Platinum Ultra Clear Resin for this gorgeous tray. I also used chameleon pigment powders from Glitter and Crafts 4U.

It's crazy how red it looked when you first dusted it. Then it came out so blue and purple! Beautiful!
The bubbles in the velvet coasters makes it look a little like flower up close. The bubbles are the stamens. I love the copper edge even better than the gold. So PRETTY!
I've never done resin pouring, but I'm addicted to your videos and I'm dying to try. Saving my pennies for some molds.
That mould would be worth saving for, Julie, its amazing you should be well happy with yourself, its stunning.

That is very cool. How it managed to go from a rusty Goldie tone to purple and green and then while you were pouring the clear on it seem to start to catch on fire is truly amazing. I definitely have to try that powder in my pores.

A couple years ago I got to go Australia for a week for work. If I ever get back there I will order one and have it shipped to a coworker... save the across the ocean shipping! I love this idea of an insert instead of the plastic ripping as you peel it out of the mold.

This stuff got me more interested in making textures work like druzy inserts under coasters and/or trays. I've ordered some of rhe larger fondant texture sheets from Amazon. Bubbles, woodgrain, allegator skin. We will see how these can be made to work in a similar way. I expect I'll have to make blanks from them first. Intriguing stuff. You've done beautiful work and sparked my imagination!

Magnificent!!! I love those larger wrinkles, the best of all you've done so far. Using copper for the edges was the perfect choice with this color combo of chameleon powder. I give it 100 out of 10. Great job on your mold as well.
