    In hydrostatic law positive Z direction can't be upward because we define XYZ directions as per the right hand rule.(put your right hand thumb in X direction, all fingers in Y direction now the rotation of fingers gives the positive direction of Z)
    So the dp/dz= +gamma and not - gamma

    the X Y and Z axis should follow the right hand thumb rule. So Z axis pointing downward should be standard, if we consider the X axis towards right and Y axis pointing outward?

    I have doubt or a question, why does concept like capillarity exist if fluid will stay at same level in two container connected through hole as you explained near end of lecture( I mean when equilibrium state happens). It is same as when we put tube in water or any other liquid, I am confused of why does it rise in case of capilary action and height difference happens and so does pressure difference

    Sir aapne bataya ki fluid static me pressure difference ki vajah se fluid flow hota hai to fir jb hm full filled bottle ki lid open krte hai to water ka flow down to up q nhi hota

    • @pragnyaanudipa2318
      @pragnyaanudipa2318 4 роки тому +2

      This is because of the gravitational force.. A gravitational pull pressure acts on the fluid for which it can't flow upward.. But in space where gravity is zero you can't open a bottle as water will flow upward...
