Built one today. I made it a little higher, a bit more narrow than yours and used 1 1/2" pipe but same overall design. Works like a charm. Thanks for the video!
@@ExavierArce I haven't glued mine together yet as I'm still figuring out how wide I want it to be so it's a little wobbly (the joints are moving as they aren't glued). The pipes themselves are rock solid though. I've done weighted dips on it (80kg total) and the pipes didn't bend at all. If I had to guess I'd say 120kg (265lbs) easily, probably quite a bit more even.
@@angeloramos8669 ya I’m still using it, been just over 10 months. Highly recommend. Don’t go smaller than 1.5 inches in diameter for support purposes. I’d also recommend taking 3-6 inches off the width of the frame. I find it’s a bit wider than a standard dip station and you get a funky feeling in the shoulders, but that’s just me.
@@angeloramos8669 of course dude. Also last things I forgot to mention, 1) definitely use primer and cement 2) if you’re gonna progress in calisthenics and try to do planches on it you’re gonna wanna go with something stronger than 40 sch, there’s a bit too much bend and I’m only 160 pounds. 3) Doubles as a row station too! Have fun dude, reply if you run into problems.
@@angeloramos8669 as a plumber trying to build at home equipment... hearing u talk about schedule 40 pipe makes my heart swell. U know what ur talking about sir
How much weight would you estimate this could hold I know PVC has high tensile strength I was thinking with some sleeves it could also be a rack for a bench with a few modifications added.
Step one, check out the back yard at my dad's house and find some old/leftover pvc pipes lying around the yard. Step two make a list of everything else I still need.
don't mind me asking, if i were to separate the 2 side parts, and use them in pairs, will it be stable and safe? Do i need to increase the base from 6" to 12" ? THanks again!
Inflation was due to the significant and historical economic stimulus that occured during and after the economy was shut down. These economic stimulus packages (quantitative easing) occured under both Trump starting with the Cares act, and Biden. Packages that are of similar type continue to occur today, except that money is now going to Ukraine. Meanwhile the fed is desperately trying to control it via rate raises. Crazy times... But at the end of the day, the vast majority of officials in office approved of what was done. Let's not fool ourselves...

If you had to guess what would the weight limit be ?

I'm a porker, how much weight will it support?
Hey man,
Can you please share the measurements? I'm planning to build my own dip station.
I'm gonna add another cross bar in the front.
Awesome. Been dragging my feet on making one. Gonna give it a try now. Thanks.
I like It. I'm from México.
Amazing details! Thank you!
That a nice build cause I don’t like wood in the house I’m gonna use this for a diy boxing bag stand I wonder how heavy it will hold
You could always use thicker pvc so it supports more weight
@@LoktarOgar69420 I use galvanized steel
@@carllubrin8518 bro can we add pull up bar in that?
How muh weight can it sustain?
Good job 👍
Thanks dude I just built mine off the same model with minor changes.
Are you still using? Do you recomend? I'm thinking If I create this for me or not.

You are not applying tension to PVC pipe when you press on it to perform dips. It's a shearing force.
How much do you weigh? Just making sure I don't break it if I make it
What's the weight capacity on that. Nice job by the way
I am 185 lbs and do not have an issue with it. It does have some flex, as I used PVC.
If you want to strengthen it just insert one size smaller PVC pipe or galvanized pipe inside these.
try that with 2 45's on a dip belt you get the old snapola
So we don't have to insert cement in each pipe?
I found an old walkerfrom the Salvation Army and it works great
@Build Things From Stuff can you put sand inside PVC for more stability?
Step one, check out the back yard at my dad's house and find some old/leftover pvc pipes lying around the yard. Step two make a list of everything else I still need.
This design looks more stable than the usual PVC dip bar designs I saw here. How much did you spend on these?
He spent 47$ but this video was uploaded 3 years ago. You can say a 10 to 15 doller will increase
Can you tell us what is your weight?
what is PVC coupling, i couldn't find it anywhere
Couplers, they are sleeves to allow to pieces of pvc to come together
dont you think its a little too far for dipping? when you dip, your elbows should point inward to your body rather than outward.
Says who? Obviously you've never heard of chest dips I'm assuming? Anyway, cut the crossbars to your liking if you feel that's the case
hi, what's the dimension (Height - width - depth) of the final product? Thanks!
3:21 shows the dimensions.

@@soonmengkiong8452 It will be less stable than having them connected. They may flex laterally if the top cross bar is not connected.
Tem como colocar os matérias em português?? , por favor.
How many kg can hold the structure more or less? My weight is about 90 kG
I weigh 190 lbs, so approx. 90 kg, and holds me no problem.
Thanks
Could a 100KG person do Dips with a belt stacked with about 40KGs? TOTAL 140KGS?
Absolutely cause it has over 300kgs of tensile strength. Use schedule 80 that will a bit high in price but that's definitely worth it.
@@AmirHossain-wh3yh have you actually tried 150kg+ or just speculation
Cost me just over $100...Let's Go Brandon!
Lol was just wondering how much this would cost today
