Ust a tip. But there's something not right in this video with your cruiser. I suspect you haven't locked your centre differential when in 4WD. You have very little drive going to the front axles. By locking the centre differential setting, you will get 50% to the front and equal 50 to the rear. You will notice the difference on the beach. In saying this, ensure you disengage before hitting the hard top as with the centre diff locked you will get axle binding which can damage the drive train. Happy travels guys. Oh, I miss my cruiser, I tend to get bogged a lot in my new DMAX with the standard size wheels 😅

The locals told me the Smoky Bay oysters (just north of Streaky Bay) on your way to Ceduna were the “bees knees” for oysters in SA. Come on Jack just one more teeny weeny oyster, open wide! Merry Christmas Megan and Jack 🎅🏼
You can buy cheap reef shoes from kmart for about $10. Iv had mine for years and they are still good. Highly recommend getting some so you don't have to worry about rocks, coral or sharp shells
So close to us again haha!! We spent the day in greenly beach the other day, weve been working up in cummins on the grain harvest and just finished on wednesday. We got lucky almost zero wind on the day we were there. Have a good xmas break and see you in the new year.

Merry Christmas Jack and Megan! I’m a new subscriber after seeing you with Jake and Lil and I’m very happy I found your channel. We are heading to Streaky Bay and then Coffin Bay in January, coming over from Melbourne so it was super exciting to see this episode. Sadly we don’t have a 4WD so won’t be having as much fun as you guys. At least there’s no risk of us cutting our feet like you did as we can’t get there! I’m hope your foot is healing nicely. Worst place to get a cut as it makes it hard to get around. I had to laugh at Jack with the Oysters but at the same time I so relate! I have never had an oyster before as I think they look and sound awful but i feel like it’s blasphemy to go to Coffin Bay and not try them! I think I could easily do exactly as Jack did! Not sure whether I’ll be brave enough (my husband and son also don’t eat them and I doubt I’ll be able to convince them!). Take care of yourselves. See you in the new year!
Razor fish are all through the Eyre Peninsula. General rule of thumb if the locals don’t swim there, there is usually a reason whether it’s rips, razor fish or sharks. Also watch out for the Blue ring octopus in the rock pools
Yet another great video guys. Razor Fish make fantastic bait. Coffin Bay oysters are the best. Try them under the grill with bacon and Tabasco sauce. Have a great Christmas/New Year. Take care.
I'm sorry to hear your foot was cut on those razor shells, Megan. I hope it heals fast and clean so you have no further issues with it. I know you are upset :'( that your trip's course was changed, but you saw a chance for adventure and took it, that's the way things go sometimes. With all the razor shells in the water, I'm amazed that you both didn't cut your feet. There were so many! Anyway, you found the place you went to find, so that ticks that off the list! 😀 Just be careful of what could be in the rockpools. 👍Good job on the first Aid being readily available, and for knowing how to care for the injury, Jack! 😀

I watched a vlog of ryan towmey , he built a small japanese truck into a mini camper. He bought a rv door and frame complete and fitted it to the camper , maybe something like that to replace your door. the only thing is it would need to look the part for your van. Have a great xmas and a happy new year. really like your travels and your meeting up with jake and lil works was excellent.

Jack, I agree about the oysters too, they look like they came out of your nose, and they taste worse.
I think it's oysters Kilpatrick for Jack , I always think of natural oysters as the taste of the sea , don't have them often though . Razor fish/clam, google them, they usually sit upright in the water and can cut real bad..

As a kid my would collect them in jars off the rocks and they looked dis-gust-ing so I am still traumatised til today 😂
I'm not sure what traumatised me the most, Jack eating an oyster or Megan stepping on a razor fish.
