Hi dan mazzy we use our projector in bedroom instead of a sheet we bought a cheap blackout white roller blind secured it to the ceiling and just roll it down when we use it. Works perfect as a screen! Only cost £9

Sorry Dan, I was under the impression you had a new stereo/satnav unit coming, I didn't realise it was a stand alone dash mounted unit. Plus I can now see what they've done with the power supply wires and fuses. those fuse adapter blocks are pretty safe you can't go wrong with those. the ground wire has to go to a bolt thats screwed to the bodywork to get a proper connection. the first one you used might have only been screwed into the plastic bits. I didn't doubt you for a second......honest!
Conduit is what Mazzy was trying to say. The problem with conduit is will the plugs go through it, however it is possible to get split conduit thats cut down the side so it slots over the wires and then encloses them like solid conduit unless it gets bent too far when the split opens up. Spiral cable wrap might be your best option. It'll hold all the wires together and make it nice and neat, I'm pretty sure Amazon stock it in various sizes.
I can see where you're going with the cinema in the the bedroom......big screen football.

Hi Dan, try "self adhesive cable tidies"..
Little plastic things, some have a clip on top or some have holes for a small cable tie.
Can clip the wire at back of dashboard and it'll be out of the way against the screen. 👍
