Imagine how horrifying this must be for a three year old; Ruby and Louise aren’t even recognizable anymore, Ruby continuously giving him death threats, and a gun is pointed at what once were his loved ones. EDIT: I also noticed Max seems to be reaching out his hand, likely trying to say they can help Ruby and Louise, and he is actually standing up to Ruby as well. I can respect that.
