Originally this was supposed to be a one off stream where I tried to get as far as possible without trying to 100% every level. But this game is SO good that I couldn't stop replaying levels to get the 100%. Part 2 will be when I return from vacation next week!
4:41:40 was absolutely the funniest moment of the whole video. It's amazing how they made the flowers fun and not annoying in a 'stating out obvious things' way.
Can i just say that I'm glad Ray and Matt are friends. They were easily my favorite guys at AH. Chibi and Naggz are hillarious as well. Great group of humans.
1:01:30 Don't know if this gets brought up later as I'm commenting this mid watch, but the flag is red. This is a reference to/mechanic from New Super Mario Bros where any secret exit had a red flag instead of a black one. Just another charming piece of this WONDERful game :D

Honestly really impressed by this game I get a fair bit of old Super Mario platformer feel, along with ingenuity and creativity we saw in custom levels on Mario Maker, add on top of that the fun audio and visual design and this becomes one of the best Mario platformers.
The missing seeds in World 1 are in extra levels south of the castle, I think. When he was looking at the map, there are three grey dots representing unplayed levels. Don't know if Ray reads the comments or if he cares for suggestions, but I'll leave this here anyway. Love the content you make. Always great to listen to and chill.
I've heard that people apparently find the flowers annoying. I find them incredibly charming and endearing. The whole game is charming. Edit:I also think Ray underestimated the Online play. It can be super helpful.
The Wonder Flower effects kinda remind me of Crash 4: It's About Time, where each level had a different gimmick for playing it a second time that was visually different. Trying to remember what they're called in Crash 4 but it's been a long time since I watched Ray play it and I've never played it myself so.
Hey ray, loving this vod; not sure if anyone pointed this out, there is a way to join with friends at the Connect station, in the top right corner you could press, i think, R for friends and invite them. You had to do the same thing in 3D World
@@Nekomania It would appear I was only partially correct in that you can invite friends to play in a private session, but they can run off and do any level they like without you, you're together in the game but not playing the levels together. I would hope they do an update to add that at some point given they have in the past with Super Mario Party and the 3D world remaster. Apologies for not having the full answer.

The only problem with this game... is that there are not more levels. It is such a good game and they made so many new enemies and elements and changes amazing things that were used only once. It made me crave more levels. I really hope they do more
at this point i think it is mario's fault that this happen, like bowser seems to follow them around, so mario going there might be the reason for all this happening to that kingdom
