I was defintely in the camp of wanting 3 exhausts tips to maintain the unique character of the GR Corolla. However, I can not lie... this looks good and sounds good.
do love a center exhaust (my 1999 celica 7th gen has a TTE exhaust on it which also comes out the center...won't lie it's the part that made go oe when comparing it to other celica's when I got it :P the nightmare for me begins if that thing ever rusts through (and it's not in the greatest of shapes :P ) was a dealer option and a part made by Remus at the request of Toyota team europe so yea....not available in every parts bin T.T. but love it's design and sound signature as far as aftermarket exhausts go. up till 2500-3000 rpm you can not tell it is a Remus exhaust. till about 4500 rpm it starts to sound meaner and meaner. and at 4500+ your in ow yea this is a Remus exaust country. it only makes the mean sounds when you want it to and otherwise it's super civil....just love that and as far as I can tell (other then VVT activating) there's no mechanical valve's or anything on the exhaust just engine + engineering.
All I know is I’m not spending $3000+ on a stainless exhaust for a corolla cough cough milltek. Tomei did $1000 full titanium and I hope they make a system for this car
Sounds great, not too loud & not too quiet! Love the carbon tips too. Also expert mode is a half way off/ "sport tuned" traction setting, holding the button until the traction lights come on but expert mode is off means it's completely off... I believe similar to the GR Yaris.
Sounds good. I personally would prefer a 3 tip exhaust that utilizes the actuator like factory. Looks like it's the same routed piping without any heat shielding for the rear diff sensor. I would definitely prefer something that helps with the overheating of that sensor the exhaust runs by like how JustDriven did (oval pipe and heat wrapping).
The system sounds awesome! I can confirm that the "Expert" mode still controls the Traction and Stability controls slightly. With it on, it will prevent you from spinning out. With it off, the rear end will want to get loose especially in 30/70 mode. For full control you definitely want it off. I was able to spin mine when I finally found out that you can turn the "Expert" mode off, and the car moves through corners quicker as well.
@@Speedindustry awesome. I’m still waiting on my grc to arrive at the dealer. It’s killin me watching all these videos about it. Exhaust is definitely gonna be the first thing I change
I like the style and finish of these, but there's a missed opportunity to incorporate the valve, especially when it comes to the outside split; easily one could be straight though and the other muffled.
Only if they are a glass pack absorbent style. The fiberglass settles and permits more sound waves over time. Chambered exhausts should remain the same
Just bought my gr yesterday and was wondering if I can just remove the actuator from the center and mount it somewhere above where it can still function but leave the center exhaust open.
You went from stereo to mono. Actually you went from 3.0 to 1.0. When I went from my 04 WRX to my 11 WRX, I went from mono to stereo and...stereo is better.
These aftermarket flue chimneys are wayyy overpriced & totally unnecessary.. Bruh! Just cut out the little resonator and decat the damn thing.. And Bob's your uncle or your aunt! These days in 'Merica you don't know..
Just bought my GR Corolla today and I have had so much fun with it.
Enjoy

We 1000% agree with this
Center exhaust makes me think veloster
@@SpeedindustryDo you know how much lighter compared to stock?

Agreed.
11:50 Oh wow. Those plate covers slot in really nice and it looks SUPER clean!

Or armytrix lol
I agree , that's not happening I went with this set up bc it's the lighter out of all the exhaust for this car yet , no need to add weight

Thanks for the feedback.

I like it! Another option for the side cutouts would be to make little 3d printed tunnels to look like a real defuser.
This tone definitely has some balls to it. Love it!
that looks and sounds great. Those block off plates are pretty smart.
Absolutely a nice touch, The Dual also comes with a center block off plate.
As much as I love the GR Supra, I want one of these GR Corollas
It is a easier Daily thats for sure
Holy drone. Sounds deep but I can just tell by exhaust note it’s a bee hive inside
Nice, it’s funny cuz those exhaust blockoffs look like the ones I designed months ago and shared on the fb group and forum 😂
Kinda what I was thinking dude.
Great minds think alike..
Such an awesome car, so gutted we don't get them in the UK. Centre exit looks so nice, the blanking caps give the rear diffuser a nice clean look too.
You guys got gr yaris. Better than corolla
11:50
@17:24
Absolutely sick
I hope someone makes a diffuser for the normal corolla that makes center exits look less dumb besides cusco
that launch at the end hurt to watch
sounds incredible!!!! i want this car!
The rev hang is absolutely catastrophic
I have been very eager for them to release an exhaust video… finally
We will do another video with sound clips soon
@@Speedindustry is the dual exit the next one with sound clips?
@@zachbruner481 Soon - We filmed it today

Yeah but not a typical active car with an easy “On/off” button for the valve
looks way better
Quick question. I have a 2023 xse Corolla hatchback. And was wondering if this exhaust would fit in my vehicle. Really like the look. Thank you!
We have a different system for you. Please contact our sales team they can assist
Preorder the CF from y’all, if they give an option to burn the tips like you were suggesting hook me up. 😅
Don't have to take off the 10 mm from the valve. You can just take off the plate it sits on and transfer it.
Do aftermarket exhausts change tone after like a break in period?
Only if they are a glass pack absorbent style. The fiberglass settles and permits more sound waves over time. Chambered exhausts should remain the same
Glad someone did something to replace that awfull thing, I would never buy that car with 3 exhaust tips...
Fark yeah 🤟🏻
Just bought my gr yesterday and was wondering if I can just remove the actuator from the center and mount it somewhere above where it can still function but leave the center exhaust open.
As long as you hold the valve open
Looks nice..... Next, you need to do Dyno
That’s one long ass downpipe!
What gun and attachments did you guys use?
To rev it you need to put clutch in and turn expert mode on and let it bounce off limiter
Ohh we know - 😂
@@Speedindustry let us hear it then 🤪🤪🤪
Mbrp sounds like their exhaust systems mmmm burp
Why better 🔥
So what do you do with all the sensors attached to the factory exhaust, does removing them throw a check engine?
Yes, The car will go in to a CEL and Limp Mode, In these test we have not yet had any issues.
Hello , so the valve is not working as before ?
i like the 2 outside and block off middle i dont like the 2 tips in middle
Would have went quad duals
Still looking for a dealership that doesn't want 10k over MSRP😢
Why did you install exhaust actuator ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????
What watch are you wearing?
NISMO - Spinny Watch - lol
That sounds like my 2007 civic without a muffler.
Sounds like the little lawn mower that could lol
The car don't look like a Corolla with the new exhaust. I would have stayed with yhe original one.
do you have a link of just a chrome exhaust tip? I’m looking for a 2.5 inlet 4 outlet chrome exhaust tip
Nah gotta b a better option it look like a mini copper from the rear
Definitely need to keep it valved. Too much drone for normal use without.
Not a bad sound at all.
F that sounds good. I bought a Golf R and I can't stand the pop and bangs.
I could get the stock exhaust 😭
You went from stereo to mono. Actually you went from 3.0 to 1.0. When I went from my 04 WRX to my 11 WRX, I went from mono to stereo and...stereo is better.
Akchualy, you went from mono from one speaker to mono from two separate speakers.
Wow, those three cylinders are overwhelming! I probably won't be able to sleep fron the thrill.
There is too much empty space to create drag. i think it needs a functional diffuser.
Yes definitely having the expert off. Turns everything off
Thats what we thought - thanks for the tip
Focus st shoo
sounds like hot trash, okay well not that bad but it's not that great. 3 cylinder isn't the move for sound
K bro
Minute 17:08 (Speed limit) 25MPH 😂😂😂😂😂😂 are you serious?????? Go to Racetrack 😅😅😅😅😅
