KUKA Australia Robotics partner, Technical Plant Services, utilizing a KR120 R2700 HA robot fitted with KUKA.CNC software and a KUKA Milling package on a linear track, helped Capral Aluminium increase their productivity and win new business through the flexibility of the robotic system, as well as reshore business to Australia.
Congrats on the upgrade. Love my Perth Mint coins!
Im currently looking at Kuka to Mill our large tubes and put in profiles, this gives me confidence in the possibilities a robotic milling can achieve.
I'm Convinced.
I'll take two
Looking good!!!!
Wow... I've always wondered about using robotic arms for multi axes machining. You see it often with foam. But I am curious if these arms have the stability and rigidity to machine tougher materials. How heavy of a cut can you really take before you get major deflection?
Hello - If you want to send me an email at Info.Robotics.AU@kuka.com with your contact details, location, I will have someone contact you to discuss your requirements
Im not actually in the market for one. Just someone with a passion for machining and automation haha. It really is surprising to have someone reach out over a UA-cam comment. You don't have to go through the trouble of setting me up with a representative. I was just to feed my curiosity. Thanks for the consideration.
Cool
