this video was a real lifesaver. my late grandma had a sewing machine from the 1980s and i've always wanted to learn. it's been 8 years since i started trying using it and i thought it was broken, but from time to time i tried to make it work, to no avail. today i stumbled upon your tutorials and it FINALLY worked. i just threaded it wrong, and other people i knew didn't know how to thread this particular model. thank you so much 🫶🏻
Thank you for posting this video. i was having trouble with my machine, which is the same model as the one shown. I did not know that the presser foot must be up so that the tension discs will rattle before threading into the tension discs. The owner's manual does not mention this guidance.

If you hold the upper tread taught you can tread it through the tension area without having to push on the lever:)
