I guess Candy Is not one to follow Manufacturers Instructions regarding NOT MIXING THE PRODUCT IN A METAL bowl. #whogivesasquat

Candy is following the manufacturer instructions XD... she IS the manufacturer, she created sunlight’s balayage. Regardless, the instructions are always ‘non metalic’. Metalic metals are those such as copper, bronze, zinc, ones which are unstable and have the potential to react and change a colour or lighteners outcome. Non metalic bowls include both aluminium(um foils duh) or stainless steel which she uses. Don’t forget about aluminium sheets used with bleach and colour, or plastic clips with metal strings, or even the stainless steel pintail comb points. They never react with colours

Thanh Le Guy Tang has his own style as do all hair colorist. Her looks tend to be clasic super wearable looks. She is a colorist know world wide for her techniques.

Guy tangs techniques are flashier, they also can be inconsistent and only produce a set number of looks. Candy shaws techniques can be used to produce any effect, something that looks foiled through balayage, or sunkissed, and it’s very consistent and much tidier
