Regardless of the message. He’s right. All majority of us share the same view as Dee-1. We complain about the issues in our culture or communities but aren’t putting the pressure on the people from our communities with the loudest voices to change the tune. No one is considering the fact that these superstars our the face of our community. And create the world view that everyone has of us. These are the people that can speak on our behalf. If they want don’t want to help make change and bring up the community, we should pull our support and stop streaming and listening to them. If money is how they communicate, then hit em where it hurts. We need demand this. It’s good he pressuring these guys and hopefully it causes or inspires a change. The only way we can get change is if we start with us first. Everyone should push with this young brother to make a change and bring positive influences and culture to our communities. What black culture has become right now is destructive and will eventually be the end of us as a people.
So Dee 1 went on the pivot podcast and I think that’s his best interview thus far. Broke down how he did contact Jim Jones and they were trying to me. They wanted him to come to NY. He was willing to do it and it was crickets after that.
People can say what they want about the fact that Dee-1 did a song with THE GAME. THE GAME did not use profanity on his song with Dee-1. So THE GAME came up to the standard vs Dee-1 allowing him to use profanity.
