Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 гру 2017
- Drama documentary telling the untold story of ABBA’s women in the words of their close circle and the women themselves. This biopic traces the highs and lows of ABBA through the eyes of the two female members. A story of two friends and mothers torn apart by being in one of the world’s most successful groups. (Part 7 of 7)
Frida, who was born with nothing, finally finds happiness with he daughter and Russo, to have that ripped away, would be almost impossible to overcome...she is a ROCK...Agnetha, so lonely, reached out to someone who was so obsessed, to fear for her life...these two women have my upmost respect! Bravo Ladies for overcoming the most difficult obstacles...!

so sad. im full of gratitude to those two great women.
There woukd never be ABBA without Agnetha and Frida ,no other singers would do !
It is a testament to their strength and courage that both Anni-Frid and Agnetha had separately endured their own hardships, and yet, they emerged all the more beautiiful and respected because of their belief in themselves! I shall always be an ABBA fan!
After seeing what they all went through, the recent announcement of them reuniting for a new album makes it extra special.
What a wonderful true story of love and hardship of the two butifull women never to be forgotten.
I can never tell, how much this band and their music has mend to me over the years. Listening to Abba now is like listening to an old friend who was always there, through thick and thin.
Thank you for the music.
What an incredible story of courage and love. It's wonderful to hear their back story. We all have incredible backstories of pain and joy and love. They put on an incredible show and made unique beautiful music that touches your very soul. They did an incredible job of putting their pain aside and brought millions of people joy. It's wonderful that they've rekindled their friendship. And they're coming into acceptance of their lives with love.
Is it stupid how I'm just 19 and just cried about this whole documentary?
ABBA is such a lovely thing and even though I was not born when they performed I just have a lot of their records and just love how they became sort of close again.
No, I cried too --- they went through some hard times.
The break-ups, Agnetha's fear of airplanes becoming stronger, sometimes it feels like ABBA ruined their lifes in the first years they split up.
I agree. I just finished watching this and I couldn't help but feel for them especially Agnetha. I love everything ABBA, so some parts of this just made me so sad. I've always loved their music. This documentary just shows that not everything is perfect even for the world's most beloved band. Hey, they are going to be even more popular this year considering a second Mamma Mia is coming out and their reunion tour after so many years. ABBA is reaching out to the new generation, to us, and it's an amazing thing.
Please, of course it's not stupid I'm 14 and I also cried through the whole documentary ABBA is just such a huge part of many decades and their music NEVER gets old!💖
When ABBA popped up I was a teenager.I liked some songs but I´ve never been a so-called Fan.Although listening to their life stories brings me to tears.I read their book too.Agnetha and Annifrid are beautiful women with extremely good voices.ABBA would have never been the same without them. Wishing them more peaceful and better times now.
I cried at the end. Especially during Frida's sad times.
Me too!
So do I
I grew up listening to ABBA. Everyday after school I’d come home, go to my room and listen to Arival on the floor for hours - and sing. I loved them then and now even more. So many emotions flood my heart when I hear their music. They are pure nostalgia, joy, happiness, sadness too. A great band.
I totally agree with you because I was/i am in the same situation, adoring them till this very moment. God bless them abundantly with good health and longevity.
I’m glad this was filmed when ordinarily I would have thought “why?”. It gave me a complete understanding about their lives and show business. I don’t cry often but this managed to bring me to tears. It reminded me of things I’ve been thru and how famous people go thru same things. I feel so very sad for the women of ABBA. Perhaps a doc should be made for the guys too although I think they faired better. I wish them all the best and thank them for their wonderful music.
It goes to show us that there is a price to pay, sacrifices, that the public does not comprehend. It is very sad. My heart breaks for them.
You have to see the bright part in it though! See, Agnetha choosed open court, i.e. a mixture of facing her primal fears, plus possible public shaming on a grande scale! Was there another option? Yeah, the very very easy and rock-/moviestar out of it. ... They got balls! They got over it, and that's exactly why they're still pop on this very day today!! :) You know, don't wish for an easy life, whish for the strenght to live a tough one, right on.
@@silkegehtyoutubegarnichtsa892 Agnetha did not choose to go in open court she was forced to do so in order to win her case. Regardless, fame always comes with a price. Lack of privacy was Agnetha's price. She values that very much. Take care.
This documentary was a great education for all of us that didn't know the real and true story of a unique group of people that came together to bring so much pleasure to millions of fans all over the world. Thanks for the opportunity to see the true story~!!!!
It's no true story, but an outsider fantasy.
@@herrbonk3635 so can you bring something more to light on this, rather than just claiming fantasy?
I am a big fan of ABBA. Never knew the details of their private life until now. I am so sorry about that terrible past. But I am happy for you now that it looks that you guys overcame all that. Now you are together again. Thanks for that miracle and thank you for your music 🎵
It was and still is FANTASTIC... And after having watched all these 7 parts, I now had a much heartfelt appreciation of their newly released songs "I Still Have Faith In You"... It does goes through the deepest portion of your heart for love and understanding of ABBA... As well as their "Don't Shut Me Out" ❤️❤️❤️
*Don’t Shut Me Down*
And I agree, both are great songs. It’s hard to believe they’re back, but they are, and they’re back with top notch material.
I grow up with ABBA. I didn't know about their personal life. It's really sad. But they will be always my #1 group. 😘
I’m 25 and I like Abba
Their strength is absolutely miraculous!! A lasting inspiration for so many women
The ending so beautiful👭🤗
Thanks for share this story👍👍 abba is so amazing❤❤❤😍😍
the end made me cry! I love them both with all my heart, God bless them!
The men of ABBA came out smelling like a rose, while the women sacrificed so much.
Yin yang, Men and Women two halves of a whole, mysterious beings we are right?
As it happens time and time again....
The documentary was very dishonest about Benny and Bjorn. I don't believe they were as cold-blooded as they were portrayed.
Howard Wiggins Björn himself has admitted that he was not always sensitive or understanding of Agnetha’s need to be with her children of her fear of celebrity, and it’s true that Benny cheated on Frida and dumped her. However, how much of the ‘fault’ can be put on Frida and Agnetha in comparison to the men, we can’t say because we were not privy to their private relationships. It’s been said that Agnetha has a really bad temper and Frida suffered from depression at times, so no doubt they also contributed to the break ups. I think the doc does a decent job of showing the men being supportive at times and at other times where they fucked up. But what really happened we’ll never know the full story unless all four of them write autobiographies
Sad but true Valerie
Abba is iconic im 23 and remember my mom listening to abba on cosset tape as she was cleaning. Then i saw mamma mia the movie and i remember thinking "omg! omfg!! i know this! holly shit!!!!!!" Best music ever. It really makes you feel things. The doc was amazing thanks.
Thank you all the 7 parts! They are legend but firstly humans.
not me who was sobbing while watching the whole thing- they went through so much oh my. i love them.
Bawling my eyes out. I've been an ABBA fan for almost 20 years and yet a lot of this is new to me. What they went through behind the scenes makes me love them even more.
I'm agree with you! Frida & Agnetha best friends-sisters ❤of course the best singers ever. God bless them as they bless our life with their voices and music. Greetings from México 🇲🇽
Quelles femmes ! Je suis heureuse de les savoir proches. C'est très touchant. Merci pour ces vidéos. ❤❤
The actresses were very very good playing the two girls, a first rate mocumentary, thanks for posting it was really enjoyable
I was a kid in the 70’s and ABBA were my religion!
Loved the scenes arriving in Australia 🇦🇺
It gives the world a view of what it is like to be an Aussie, full of spirited love and passion in everything we do!
There isnt many people my age that likes listening to abba, but i grew up with my mom listening to abba all the time and this made me cry. (im 11)
This Lainy Boyle actress just kicks... Frida alone (not a pun here) deserves a biopic on her own...
I agree. What a life! From lebensborn child to orphan, to teenage mom and wife. Then mega star with ABBA. Becoming real life royalty. But so sad about her third husband, and her daughter. And now she has lost her grandson (Lottas son) Jonathan to cancer last October. The personal pain never seems to end for poor Frida
Her rocknroll grandson? No way! She really deserves a biopic! God bless her...
@@PedroRio07 yep. She is such a survivor. She still has her son Hans and her 2 grand daughters from him and I guess a very nice daughter in law
When Aggie saw Pierce Brosnan sing SOS, she must’ve thrown up. HA HA HA!!! That movie blow big time.
Wow, these stories are a lot more impressive than everything the Beatles went through.
ABBA are a lot more impressive than the Beatles tbh
Two beautiful ladies who made history together.
They both have such beautiful voices
I appreciate your multidimensional portrayal as human beings first in the telling of the poignant stories that wove to become the ABBA experience. They are my four guiding lights since my earliest childhood 1972 . Much love to them from me.
Happy to see they all cut a new album and will be on stage virtually as their younger selves in London next year. Wish I could go.
Thank you for the music🎤🎶🎸🎹
childhood, sweet fourteen, ABBA by my side. Thank you, all four of you.
the way old freinds do!!!
The experiences and what they've gone through makes them more stronger, better and more beautiful persons as they are and much more alive and blessed as singers. Probably the 2 males were more successful and more rich financially because they are more focused on the BUSINESS. But now since the four of them are still kicking so they really needs each other's company as legends and as BUSINESS professionals. Renewal is the name of a game. So the songs goes and the writers continues push the lyrics. Bravo the 2 women of ABBA after all you look much more younger and fresh!
The guys knew it was the women that was going make the band successful.
ABBA, thank u so so much for the music!!!!
Thank you so much for posting this..Okay?? You are awesome💕💕💕
Thanks for the music ABBA!!!💖💖💖💖
Quem sabe algum dia, teremos a oportunidade de conhecer pessoalmente as duas rainhas do ABBA, Frida e Agnetha? Quem ssbe algum dia poderemos abraçá-las e agradecê-las por tanta alegria? Quem sabe algum dia poderemos olhar nos olhos de cada uma e dizer que fizeram história e que somos orgulhosos de seus trabalhos?

😢 thank you, Ladies
Some things were a little off on accuracy. It wasn't like the girls went years without seeing each other. Supposedly, there was a little tiff between the girls, because supposedly Frida introduced Bjorn to the woman who would ultimately cause the breakup between Agnetha and Bjorn...in fact, the woman that Bjorn is still married to today. The girls pretty much despised the guys after the divorces, except when it came to ABBA and, in Agnetha's and Bjorn's case, their children. (Frida and Benny didn't have children together.). But, the girls kept in touch after ABBA and are close friends, and see each other when they can. This documentary makes it sound like the girls had a falling out too and went years without seeing each other. This is NOT true. They do live in separate countries...Agnetha in Sweden and Frida most of the time in Switzerland, but they have been good friends throughout the post-ABBA years.
well said
If a friend did that to me, I would never talk to her again. That Lena woman came too quickly, so it may be true what you say.
How do you know? Always been very curious about their friendship. Also found disturbing that the two guys remained in the spotlight and very close to each other ,while Anna and Frida took different paths. Perhaps all the pain the divorce caused them it’s the cause. Maybe they were very close but being together made them think too much about their foursome life during ABBA years. It would be interesting if they’d tell us about their friendship. Did they meet? Did they call each other often during the years? I really would like to know. Why didn’t they formed a singing duet ? So many questions ... I think most fans are obsessed with them ways more than they are with the guys . (Personally I never been that curious about the guys , always found the girls magical and always hoped they’re ways closer than it looks by their public life after the break up .
@@MaddyFlowerAngel Uh...I know because I lived through the original ABBA years...and nothing ever came out in the press or other public forum suggesting that Agnetha and Frida hated each other after Agnetha and Bjorn divorced or any other time post-ABBA. In fact, during ABBA's now infamous last official TV appearance as ABBA in the original years on Britain's The Late Late Breakfast Show, there was a scene toward the end where the 4 are each asked individual questions, and Agnetha's question was who she admires most. Frida gestures to her that it is herself...Agnetha...and that is Agnetha's answer. Point is, this proved they did not hate each other at all.
@@LauRa-re9un Just because Frida introduced Lena to Björn, doesn't mean it was intended to be a set-up. Incidentally, Lena and Björn are sadly divorcing in 2022.
This was embarrassing, yet I watched it. It was (like the saying) like a car crash and I just couldn't look away. I'm so sorry, Frida and Agneta, I should have zapped away immediately. 😬
That interview with Frida where she starts to cry is soooo heartbreaking
Thank you for sharing! Loved it.
That was such a blessing to see. Thank you so much for bringing it to me to us your loyal fans. God bless you and blessed new year. love Melissa xoxo
This was great. I loved it. Thank you Nina Rios.
Wow I have never seen those stories before. It bought a year to my eye.
No me ether made me so sad
I feel like this is a hit piece, all these girls have done is bring pleasure to a listening audience that adores them.
And people who knew them do interviews ( to get their 15 minutes of Fame).
Have in the long run, burnt their bridge, and shown their true colors.
Merill Streps name ruined it for me, but I had to watch it again.
this heals my wounds
Wonderful watching this. Thanks
God bless u all. I was such a big your music made me happy. I and my sister and brother were going thru our life issues.
Emotionant!!!!
How on earth would you find actors attractive enough to play ABBA
Despite the woeful actors they got the story across though facts at times might be clouded its no wonder they completely fell apart and done a fantastic job to last as long as they did
Não tem tradução!!!!🥺🥺🥺🥺 Eu amo os quatro ABBA
I've often wondered where Gert is now in 2021 especially with the revival of ABBA ??
Who's watching this after they dropped their new music in 2021?
Thank you, and I hope the end is real for them!
Thanks so much❤
So sad for these ladies. My parents broke up same time as Anna and Bjorn. I did not know about Frida's daughter's death, or her second husband's. Incredible talent and so sad, brought me to tears.
Russo was Frida's third husband. She married Ragnar and had her two children with him before meeting Benny. After a long engagement, Benny and Frida were married for a few years before they too divorced. Frida was a widow after Russo's death, and she's now in a long term relationship with an Englishman, and seems to be happy at last. She certainly deserves it. What a hard and difficult life she's had, along with the enormous success and outstanding career she's had.
It was great!! and reliable since their closest friends gave their points of view. It makes me adimire them even more and feel a bit of anger over B&B. They were insensitive to them.I was wanting more. Is that their stories continue,it ´s not so??
Liliana Maria Lobo Correa it’s ancient history. The band is finally back together and they recorded new music. If the women can forgive, so should we. They are both superstars and I have tremendous admiration for how strong they both are in the face of adversity
Omg he is crazy God help her
very nice
Maravilhosooo!!!!
FRIDA WORKED WITH A # OF ARTISTS OVER THE YEARS..B.A. ROBERTSON "TIME"..RATATA "AS LONG AS I HAVE YOU"..AND WITH DANIEL BALAVOINE " BELLE"ETC..IN THE 90'S JULIEN LENNON'S "SALTWATER" WHICH WAS PHENOMENAL!! HER ALBUM IN '96 "DJUPA ANDETAG" FEATURING "AVEN EN BLOMMA" AND "OGONEN" AND OTHER HITS FROM THE ALBUM ALL DONE IN SWEDISH!! SHE WORKED WITH MARIE FREDRIKSSON OF ROXETTE "ALLA MINA BASTA AR" ALSO A HIT!! IN 2004 SHE WORKED WITH JON LORD OF "DEEP PURPLE"..HE WROTE A BEAUTIFUL SONG JUST FOR HER " THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN" ANOTHER HIT!! WITH FILIPPA GIORDANO "LA BARCAROLE"..AND WITH ARTURO SANDOVAL HER SINGING HIS MUSIC A VERSION OF "ANDANTE ANDANTE"..SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH THE STORY LINE HERE? I GREW UP WITH ABBA LISTENING TO AND LOVING THEIR MUSIC..AS AN ADULT I LOVE AND ADMIRE THESE 2 WOMEN EVEN MORE!! KNOWING THE LOSSES THEY'VE EXPERIENCED AND SEEING THEIR STRENGTH TO OVERCOME!! ONE THING ABOUT THIS IS THE ENDING..I DO KNOW THEY LOVED ONE ANOTHER AND WERE CLOSE..FRIDA SAID AGNETHA WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE HER LITTLE SISTER IN AN INTERVIEW!! IT WAS GREAT TO SEE THAT DEPICTED. THE GENIUS OF BJORN & BENNY'S WORDS AND MUSIC IS GREAT, BUT AGNETHA AND FRIDA WERE THE HEART & SOUL THAT MADE THEM REAL AND BROUGHT THEM TO LIFE!! THOSE ANGELIC VOICES ARE WHAT CAPTUERD OUR HEARTS AND MADE SUCH AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD!! THE 1ST, 2ND & 3RD VOICE!! "THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC"!! ABBA FOREVER!!💖💖💖💖
These two women were ABBA. I still listen to them. Yes they were famous but they paid a high price. Notice the men were nothing without them. Thank goodness life has come full circle and their voices and songs will live on for decades. Just a FYI Rita Wilson/Tom Hanks wife produced and directed Mama-Mia!
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were the producers. Director was Phylidda Lloyd.
My only contention with the movie is Meryl Streep. Streep is a world class actress, but she just did not fit this role. Her whole performance seemed disingenuous and fake. She does have a classically trained voice so maybe that's why they picked her? (Never mind the men. Ugh! Pierce Brosnan, really???)
The men were very successful songwriters... with ABBA you can't have their success with any one member missing. They all made an outstanding contribution to their sound and their image.
Feel sorry for her. Guy is crazy
Nice work! 100 😄😄
True statement .
That movie Mamma Mia was awful. Muriel’s Wedding really put ABBA back on the map.
Heartbreaking for both women, but not your typical when the music stops story. I can't help but wonder if Frida and Agnetha had stayed more closely connected post Abba, maybe their pain would have been less. Or maybe that wasn't possible. In any case, they're both very strong.
FRIDA'S DAUGHTER DIED IN '98 &HER HUSBAND '99 THEY DIDN'T PASS IN THE SAME YEAR. I BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE ARE FILLING IN WHAT THEY REALLY DON'T KNOW!!
I feel so emotional thinking of Agnetha & Frida. They were both so sensational. I have no feelings whatsoever
thinking of the ex-husbands, they were simply a disgrace. Obviously they were professional guitarist/pianists, but
so what? ABBA were brilliant ofcourse but what an unhappy ending.
I am very very impressed with the relationship between agnetha and Frida at their lately life in that video. Eternal deep friendship with so excellent wisdoms. I think we all want to be like them at the last life. I Will pray to Allah that may they convert to muslims. Aamiin. So many people in Europe and America , pasteurs, priests, scientists, ets have converted nowdays.
You should convert to Christianity. How dare you post crap like that? Religion has nothing to do with this.
Agnetha hat keine krumme Nase und war überhaupt deutlich hübscher. Frida sieht anders gut aus als in Wirklichkeit, aber sie sieht gut aus und gut gelungen ist auch die Noblesse, die Frida bis heute ausstrahlt.
I wonder if Bjorn feels any guilt for abandoning her when she was clearly psychologically ill. She was so lonely that she slept with a stalker for 2 years & didn't see reality.
I believe Agnetha once said " I believe a lot of the fault was from me "
Beside the terrible acting this is a hell of a story..
At lease he is admitting his mistake and loves her. Our father left his family of 3 kids I was 7
🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💔💜💔💜 Thank you
Legenda em portugues por favor
Merill Strip ruin this whole thing for me. Just the mension of her name.
Uh...She was the biggest star in Mamma Mia (the movie).
Ya she's a liberal Hollywood elitist hose bag who thinks she better than everyone else. She went on a twitter rant shitting on millions of people. All because a certain other hose bag lost an election. F her.
The movie Mamma Mia was mostly filmed on the beautiful Croatian island of Vis, but this 'summer' breeze' feeling of joy and happiness somehow doesn't represent the true ABBA story well. ABBA story is full of sorrow and melancholy, not summer partying and joy.
Oh no ,circle of life.

Again Ladies AA trouble and BB are spotless wrong
Feel like she’s scared to death
loosing a child is the worst pain one can suffer (if u love that child) and that is a big if. Other than that I really don't think these people had tough lives. Not by a long shot!
These women are not pretty like agnetha and Frida
The cast is awful.....
yes, ABBA is very close to God...but please stop milking that cow now.
