@SlyWithMee Have you seen the movie? The whole point is that he is an ass for saying these things. It's not that he "made it look like a joke" - he knew he shouldn't be saying it, but couldn't stop himself. He's not a good person.
0:44 "in fact some people are making good living that way" i love how sweetly he meant himself in real world, Jim Carrey who makes weird faces for a living.
Fletcher have been really selfish in this scene as he tried to get his son Max to undo his birthday wish so he can be able to lie again that it never really occurred to him that the real reason why Max made this wish but he's tired of the broken promise that his father made.
This is always is my favorite scene. Its because Jim Carrey tried to make things right with his son in his own way. And even the part when the playground woman slapped Jim was really funny and the best part. But I always feel bad for him, Jim didnt deserve that slap.
Max: My teacher tells me real beauties on the inside.
Fletcher: That's just something ugly people say.🤣🤣🤣🤣
@SlyWithMee Are you that teacher? 🤣
@@yuvanraj2271 she's definitely that teacher.

This Max's line breaks anyone's heart.
Fletcher didn’t realize how much he has taken advantage of Max’s love until he said that “he is the only one who makes him feel bad.”
As touching as this scene is, Fletcher smashing the cake at the end really makes me laugh.
Fletcher: Happy Birthday 🎂🎁🎈🎊🎉

Poor Max.😟🎂
"My teacher tells me beauty's on the inside."

LMFAO
"Can I borrow you for 1 second?"
He lied
Not really... He several times speaks figuratively, like in the roast scene

Redo ↪️: Thank You 😊
2:20 what did Fletcher say to her?
Max was supposed to be like 5 years old 😂
The kid is easily like 7-8 years old
I wonder what Fletcher said to that woman in the playground that prompted her to slap him.
Probably something along the lines of what he told the lady in the elevator 😂

That was probably it.
