You can build an automised iron farm with create: You will need a cobble generator with lava and water, and then a drill. The cobblestone you will have to crush with these weels into gravel, and this gravel you will then have to wash with water in front of a blowing fan.
Maybe you can build this further in game, but it is acctually really helpful. You should also make this transporting things with kelp ( i can't recall right now how they're called...)
