Oh wow! I hadn't heard about this drift-ice cruise before -- it seems like so much fun! I've always wanted to visit Hokkaido (my daughter was there a few years ago, but not in winter, ha!). My favorite lighthouse, by the way, is the abandoned one on Cape Aniva across the strait on the closest bit of Sakhalin Island to where you were.

How do I book this next winter I went to Abashiri 2020 and couldnt take drift boat to windy ,/This year I went to Hokkaido but not able to book place to stay there so stayed in Ashiakawa and train not frequent for day trip. so just toured nearby so this would be ideal . Thank you
