I've just bought a new house (a cottage with a big garden in the Yorkshire countryside) so plan is to keep on with my shorts until the and do some content during the move! Hopefully we'll be in in the next 1-2 months! :)
Hey! Found you last night and I’m obsessed since my boyfriend is also asking me to do some reno to his place that I will eventually move into :) question! How do you guys figure out who pays for what? Are you fully funding these renos or are you splitting costs?
Hey! First of all congratulations! I’m sure that’s a really special time for you guys :). I think it’s dependent on your situation. So for instance, Tim and I plan to marry in the future, so I see the place as also an investment into my future, as well as I was looking for a career change and UA-cam is a viable option. So for me, his place is more or less an investment in a couple of different ways. That being said, we usually split things up pretty evenly. Depending on who’s more flush with cash at that exact moment I might say something like, “hey I’ve got some extra cash I’m going to buy this thing” and he’ll let me know if he can be a part of that. Other times I’ll be broke and he’ll be like “hey! I just got paid, why don’t I buy that thing you need for this weeks project.” So it’s all situational, but we try and split it up as best as we can. Everyone’s situation is different, but I trust that you’ll find what works best for you guys! So glad you found my channel!
After eating salami and cheese, it would have been hilarious if your man burped and blew it in your face.🤣It would be even more hilarious seeing the face of the return department looking at the box had the table not worked out.
Hahah well that would be fair…. I attacked him with garlic breath on the picture frame wall project…. Could you imagine the amount of duct tape it would take to put that box back together….
