Looking for help. Have an i7+. Replaced the cliff sensors. Reset Roomba and startes vacuum cycle but it stops after about 2 minutes and needs to dock. Can't find sick and eventually button goes red and says docking issues. Does this even after hard reset again. Any thoughts?

Any chance you've worked with the s9 series yet?
So far the only error stumping me is error 9 bumper error.
It's unique to the rest with the use of the HECB and magnets. I don't know how to test HECBs yet and can't tell where the disconnect or communication error is coming from. Seen it on 4 of them new out of the box and I had a feeling it was due to the return springs since they ship the robots vertical facing down compressing the bumper constantly. But so far resetting springs, disassembling and reassembling the bumper hasn't worked. Wires are so small I'm worried I'll break one messing with them too much lol.

Any chance you got a verro or Mirra? They are aquabots so you can probably use aquabot parts.

I’m really struggling to get the front bumper back on with full functionality… I can get it back on but it doesn’t have that “springy” feeling. When I push the bumper in it kind of just sits there, I have to manually pull it back out.

I sprayed mine with a hose after it ran over and spread poop everywhere. I dried it and then blew it dry with the air compressor. After this I let it sit and dry for 48 hours. Next I placed it on the charging station. It is an i6. The clean ring is circling as though it is changing. The base light is red and remains red.
The rumba hasn’t performed it’s daily run in two days.
    Any suggestions???
    Thanks in advance.

Are their any videos of the original roomba series? I have two and like to do a teardown! Use the parts for one to the other! Thanks Mark

Not of the Original Roomba, and at the moment I do see anyone selling one around my area, did you want to send me yours for a tear down video?

We just got our first puppy a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and we love him so much, but today our Roomba Rosie gobbled up and spread puppy 💩 all over the carpet and hard wood floors while I was at work today. The only thing that stopped it was the sensors were completely covered in and caked in that’s right poo poo everywhere and it’s all inside every nook and cranny of my roomba i3.
Surely Im not the only robot owner this has happened🥲😬😬😬

Yes, you are not the only one, has happen more times to people than you think, few years back I did receive a Roomba that went thru same senerio, I took it all apart, cleaned and disinfected all parts, and it worked and looked like a new Roomba afterwards.
