Mantı dumblings is small in Türkiye 🇹🇷 but in other Turkish countries Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, Azerbaijan 🇦🇿, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿, Türkmenistan 🇹🇲 Mantı is big like Korea 🇰🇷. I prefer the big Mantı. My mom make mantıs smaller than the half size of the ones you ate.
There are thousands of Turkish dishes so we eat different things daily. İçli Köfte is a dish of Malatya city which is near Kayseri, Malatya has hundreds of local dishes there are more than 125 different type of Köfte in Malatya but due to recent earthquake now the city has few restaurants available sadly. İçli köfte is originally boiled not fried and it tastes much better when boiled also in Malatya it is cooked with small cherry size wheat meatballs and that is the original dish.
The famous Swedish meat balls is actually another Turkish Köfte and Swedish 🇸🇪 people learned it from Turks while they were living under Turkish protection after the defeat Swedish people runaway from Russians and Turks protected them few centuries ago.
Mantı is not like Andong Jimdak I ate Jimdak in Andong Korea it is more like Turkish suluyemeks. I think Dak means chicken in Korean. Mantı is the small version of a similar dish of Korea called Mando. Turkish and Korean dishes taste alike I can eat all Korean dishes as a Turk but normally Turks can't eat foreign food.
Turkish students are very cool and they speak Korean very well I want to thank 🙏 them for helping you explore Türkiye.
I hope you also tried Pastırma which is the orginal form of Pastirami and Sucuk the Turkish fermented meat sausage in Kayseri but in other cities you can still find Kayseri Pastırması and good Sucuk.
There are too many Turkish dishes it is even impossible for Turks to taste all of them. Just be sure to eat in everyday restaurants where locals eat and if possible with Turks so that you can taste the real Turkish tastes.
Hope you can find a place for real Adana Kebap and thick homemade style lahmacun. By homemade I mean we prepare the meat and vegetable mix like a paste and send it to bakery and they put the paste on to bread dough and cook it for us. The thin lahmacuns at the restaurants are mostly not good enough but the homemade style lahmacun with thicker bread is really good.
Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your comment and the plentiful information, it helped me understand more things!
Yes, 'Dak' (닭) means chicken. I didn't mean that Manti is similar to Jjimdak, but I wanted to express the concept of 'Tepsi'. Actually, before I came to Turkiye, I became to know 'Tepsi Pirzola', so I thought 'Tepsi' is similar to Jjimdak at that time! It's interesting to learn new things. :)
Probably you can discover the things you expect in my later videos. Look forward to my next videos please!
Mantı is a traditional chinese dish
@@EnderSavaş-e9l Mantı/Manto is a Traditional Turkish & Korean dish Chinese learned it from Koreans and Turks even now in China Uygur Turks are famous for their great cuisine and Chinese people love Uygur Turkish Restaurants! Turks and Koreans related Turkish and Korean language are related. Even some Emperors of China had Korean names. Also The Great Kubilay Khan was half Turkish study some real history!
@@thelight2843 you are misinformed, go read the encyclopedia or look at wikipedia
@@EnderSavaş-e9l Hey Karen Wikipedia is not reliable you are not only misinformed you don't even have a clue about the subject! I don't think you have ever been to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Korea, Tataristan etc You never ever probably eat real Uygur Turkish food or Dungan food. Truth and imperialist orientalist propaganda are totally different things. France, Germany, England etc all have their versions of history a d Turkology manipulations by using academia as a weapon for centuries only ignorant would rely on their nonsense instead of spending your time on Wikipedia I advice you to travel those countries city by city to observe and learn about the reality! 😂
