First off congratulations! Your channel certainly deserves it.
ENTER: I started coloring in 2016 completely by accident. Walked into a gaming store which had Johanna's books for sale and picked up Lost Ocean on a whim. I didn't even know adult coloring was a thing. But then I started coloring and enjoyed it so much. Started watching UA-cam videos, Peta Hewitt was the first colorist I started watching and it just grew from there.

I have always liked crafty stuff however it wasnt until a few years ago that I invested in a decent electric sharpener and realised that colouring could be actually enjoyable being able to get a decent point on my pencils and hence followed the start of my collection.

Enter! Congratulations to you for 10K subscribers I have always loved to color, but had switched to iPad apps while I was still working. I had such limited time and that allowed me to be somewhat creative. A few years ago I finally retired and then the following year my mother passed away. I found myself needing to occupy my mind and wanting to have a creative outlet. Also I love learning new things. Enter coloring books and learning how to color 😊 I got serious about coloring last December. So my journey has just begun, December 2023, and I have so much to learn 😊 thank you for your channel and all the help you have given me.

Congratulations on 10k!!! Your pages are always so beautiful and I love watching your colour alongs. I’ve learnt so much from you and enjoy your channel immensely.
My colouring journey started when I was given two johanna basford books and a packet of gel pens as a gift from a dear friend after my baby boy passed away in 2020. Colouring initially for me was a way to distract myself from my sadness but also allowed me to express emotions in a way that words couldn’t. The hobby has evolved for me in the years that followed and I now have a few other books and supplies but Colouring will always be something that I associate with my son.

I started coloring back in 2015 when my dad was terminally ill & I was in the hospital room with him a lot. I didn’t want to bother him with the tv so a sweet nurse suggested coloring! I’d always loved it as a child so I thought why not. I’m in a slump this year unfortunately but I’ve got a new set of Albrecht dürers to try out now so I’ll be doing one of your amazing color a longs!! Thanks again for all that you do & congrats on 10,000 subs! 🎉❤😊

I always liked art. Watercolours, alcohol markers and pencil crayons were my sketch book fillers 🥺🤣 and then I started using wreck this journal as an artist block tool for inspiration and then my brother passed away in 2016. I lost all interest completely and after a long battle with depression and dissociation a friend one day suggested picking up my art stuff again. I stayed isolated for a very long time but colouring slowly made me see the brightness in the world again. Long story short, it helped me through a lot

I started because I felt like I was in an art rut. I'm an artist, but I had fallen out of love with drawing and working on art. So I figured coloring books were a good adjacent way to get back into working on art without so much pressure (for making merch and 'sellable' art), and the AI 'art' surgence was making me sad, and getting back into traditional art was my way of fighting back against that. It's become a lot more than that over the year and a half I've been coloring now, since I started my own channel and color basically on a daily basis now!

ENTER - I've always loved to color since I was a child. Even as a pre-teen back in the '70s, they had "adult" coloring books - mainly mandalas and geometric designs. Me and my mom would have a set of felt tip markers and color away. Then time went on and one day back in 2018 I noticed a FB friend had a picture she had done. Made me look up coloring books for adults and wow, whole new world of books - nothing like I had in the 70's. That started the rebirth of my coloring. Thanks much for the giveaway - very generous and kind of you!

I´ve always been a creative person "stuck" in a non-creative job. I´ve tried so many different creative hobbies (crochet, miniature painting, sowing and even diamond painting) to try and get my creative side stimulated. But having kids and pets and therefore always needing to put everything away as soon as I leave the project seemed to make the effort not worth it (like cleaning brushes for 15 minutes every time, or putting away all the needles). Once I found adult coloring about 2 years ago I have never gone back. So simple yet so satisfying. I now colour almost every day and feel so much better mentally!

ENTER! Congratulations Shelly on your two year UA-cam anniversary. I love the items that you've chosen for the giveaway!
I have always loved participating in art and craft activities. I began colouring as I don't always have the time or inspiration and, if I'm honest, the confidence to draw something from scratch. Having seen how popular adult colouring had become, I began looking for UA-cam videos and was delighted to find so many channels filled with inspiring content. I think the kind and encouraging comments that I received from members of the colouring community was ultimately what drew me into participating in this hobby more regularly.

ENTER! I have been working on personal investments/trading for 4 years and watching the news/media everyday has taken its toll on me. I rediscovered art recently and it has become the best distraction from this crazy world we are in. I mostly worked with graphite but I now love exploring all the coloring mediums/techniques. Much love and appreciation for this space and this community!

ENTER! Congratulations on the milestone! I started coloring after a really bad bout of depression. I started several creative outlets: resin, watercolor, fluid paiting and then came across Sarah Renae Clarks and discovered coloring! I bought World within Worlds, subscribed to more than 50 coloring channels and started watching videos all my free time :D This was ~6 months ago.

I started colouring in 2014 when I got a new job and one of my new colleagues showed me some Johanna Basford colouring books. I immediately was intrigued and went to buy my first book which was Enchanted Forest :) I got so obsessed with colouring that it made me get into drawing again later on and I started my own art business thanks to it! I still colour in my spare time and have over 50+ books and still buy new releases. I will never let go of this hobby. ❤

Congratulations!!! I am so happy for your 2nd Anniversary!! I have LOVED watching your videos. You’re so very talented!!
I’ve loved coloring since I was a child. For YEARS, I could only color in children’s coloring books, with that junky thin, newspaper-ish paper. I was SO excited when ‘adult coloring books’ became a thing. I’ve always colored for joy or when stressed, or just because.
Thank you for sharing your talent and inspiration with us all. 💖💖💖

ENTER -- My coloring journey began about 10 years ago when my daughter’s father passed away, and I was looking for something we could do together that would be fun since she was really struggling with depression and anxiety. Well, still today we color together, watch coloring videos together, and get really excited over seeing others beautiful work. Being a part of the coloring community, although at times silently, has been such a blessing for us both and has really helped us through some difficult times. Congratulations Shel on 10 k subs!!! What a wonderful achievement and very much deserved. My daughter and I both just love and enjoy your videos so much!

My renewed interest in coloring started with the secret garden by Johanna Basford. I am sure, I am not the only one. I still like her books very much. Before that I was already coloring mandalas, and I still love to do that.
My last purchase was the mythografic book Magical Earth. That is my first mythografic book and I bought it thanks to your showing on your channel. Thank you for sharing your beautiful coloring pages. 💜

ENTER First….Congrats on 2 yrs & 10k🎉🎉 I honestly don’t remember how I got started with adult coloring. I tried scrapbooking but it didn’t hold my interest. I love needle arts like crochet, embroidery & cross stitch, but those projects can be very time consuming. Coloring provides me the variety for when I’m in the mood for a simple design or something more complex.

ENTER. I have clinical depression and anxiety and I started colouring as a way to relax and calm my mind when things get overwhelming. I love being creative anyway and colouring has given me an outlet for that aswell as being like medicine for my over-active mind and helps me to forget all my troubles, worries and overwhelming sadness, even if only for a little while. After discovering and admiring all the many amazing and talented colourists, like yourself, I'm now ever so slightly obsessed with my new hobby. I'd be lost without it now! 😊❤ x

Honestly what got me into adult coloring was my Mom! She was an art guru she did everything from pottery to painting on easels! We would spend many a evening swapping color books and color for hours listening to nice relaxing music! I stuck around because it reminds me of her and makes me feel close to her since she passed away from Cancer next month will be 2 years since she passed. Congratulations for 10K subs and Happy Anniversary!

ENTER, PLEASE!!!! Congratulations to you, Shelly. I'm so happy for you!!!
I began adult coloring after I had my first son. I had lots of leftover coloring books and crayons from my niece and decided to color some cute little pictures and add them to his album. Then I colored bigger pictures and completely covered our closet with them. It was a nice quiet thing for me to do while he would fall asleep at night and I've always loved colors and coloring. I took a bit of a break then started up again with my first adult coloring book after my second son was about 7 and have been coloring ever since! I have to say, the adult coloring books and supplies are much more expensive but the final results are amazing!!!! Love you, love your work!

ENTER, congratulations. I started colouring in 2016. I was retired, my children are grown and even my grandchildren are in school full time, so I needed a hobby. I watch every single video you put out. Your personality is what drew me to you. Then watching you complete such lovely pages, I was hooked. I have learned so much from you. Congratulations! Love your channel, thank you for sharing! I would like to ENTER. My colouring journey started with the very first Johanna Basford book „Secret Garden“. I began to colour a page with markers, and I soon got frustrated because it didn‘t look as I wanted …at all. I laid it aside for a looooooong time until by pure chance I came across the channel of Peta Hewitt and a colour along in „Enchanted Forest“. That got me hooked. I did the colour along, found more colouring channels, bought more books, more supplies (a lot!)…. And the rest is history.😂
