Thank you! Music, miniatures and my beard are literally my three favorite things... Thanks for watching and commenting. I havre teo videos about my actual painted collection up, one for dark angels and one foe ultramarines if you wanna check them out.
It took a whole day to get everything squirrelled away back where it was, and our hobbybroom was a mess for the better part of a week. Of course that implies that sometimes our hobby room is organized, which would be facetious.
Thank you so much, I appreciate the support. I am working on the last few Word Bearers models for my 30k army (for now, of course) and then that will be my next showcase.
I feel like it is slowly turning into a pile of glory, as I get more of my shame painted. I am doing monthly progress articles and weekly shame total updates on my website if you want a good laugh. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@mf6s oh nice! i have a whole closet of shame i m sure in time it will get painted i just need to get better at painting before i tackle some of the harder models but i will get there i am just finishing up 100 guardsmen i am at 80 wish me luck :P
@@yoyoyo9669 I would love to see the army come together. Feel free to join my Otherverse Hobby Hangout on Facebook and flood the group with progress pics.
@@mf6s ok i will do that now! thanks for the invite! i am just getting back into it and i am a beginner so do not expect greatness! haha but thank you so much! :)
Excellent. I am glad my adventures in miniature hoarding can be useful. Also, I am more than glad to be used as a cautionary tale. Thanks for watching. I just posted my Ultramarines video. Please check it out for proof that I do paint minis sometimes.
It's an impressive collection for sure :) If you spent 30 minutes per model.... well, let's just say I've seen entire frame-off, every nut and bolt, car restorations with fewer man-hours!
- Are you into 40k or Aos or Fantasy or specialist games? -Yes - Okay, but what is in your collection? - Miniatures - But which faction do you play? -All of them! That's a tons of model, though I'm not sure how you will handle all of those. I only collect 40k chaos (all main faction of it) and already have enough miniatures to work on years if not decades.
It's certainly a bit daunting, since I count my projects in entire armies. I have a lot of work ahead of me. But I already gave away a bunch of WFB minis that I will never bother painting, and might get rid of more. Sadly, I also bought an extra armybsince I filmed that. I will use the boardgame and other small projects to break up thr monotony of large army projects and juat keep picking away at it. I have a counter up on our blog website that I will update weekly if you want to keep track of my shame...
Glad I could be of assistance. I have putchased more since this video, but also painted a bunch. There is a counter on the website linked in the video that I update every Monday if you want a weekly laugh! Thanks for watching.
I have a mountain of shame some never been touched in 20 years still have a couple of the original 1988 space hulk with the add ons that’s how back it goes
Awesome. My shame pile didn't start until 2nd ed space hulk. Still have some of those models floating around. Most of mine is warhammer fantasy battle minis from the early 2000s while i was in college. Thanks so much for watching. I have updates on www.otherversegames.com if you are interested in seeing my progress, or lack there-of.
I’ve been collecting since 88 when games workshop did a box set of 60 warhammer battle figures for 10 pounds it had 6 units of 10 identical figures for dark elves wood elves skaven etc
I got soriously involved with the 40k hobby like 2 month ago (been following since 2003, never made the move to get into till now) and i already got the grey knights combat patroll and the start collecting for chaos in my pile of shame hahaha
It doesn't take much to get over your head, I would suggest keeping it reasonable. I would always suggest having an extra projec tor teo to work in to combat burnout, especially on larger projects. At the same time, I am in a hole, more than half of the minis I own are unpainted, and I continue to buy. So, I guess the long and short is, don't get carried away. It happens fast.
Damn, I envy first world country people and their ability to buy that many models. My pile of shame is literally 10 daemonettes, a lord of pain and a 3d printed model that I dont feel like painting xd
There is 20 years of collecting (hoarding) and no small amount if financial ruin in that video. At this point I would much rather your pile of shame...
Valid question. I certainly don't play as often as I want. But yeah, probably 3 to 5 times a month. Mostly 40k, as i havr a dozen or so playable armies, but I am moving into heresy. My Word Bearers will be complete in a week or so. Thanks for watching.
It's a collection of opportunity!!!!
It's certainly a collection of something. Now if only I could find time to turn it into painted models.
That is a great way to see it!!
Awesome music, awesome collection and an awesome beard.

I'm rewatching this in some spare time. I can't imagine the time it took to drag all these minis out! Keep on painting man

How long did it take to go through all that?
It took a solid afternoon to film it and that evening to put it all back in the safe hiding spots they came out of.
At least you'll always have a model to paint in your down time! If you can find some down time, that is
I might need to find some interns or something, otherwise I will never get through the pile...
To anyone who calls their shame a "pile of awesome", I'd like to make you aware that denial is not just a river in Egypt.
Dude. Do you even play any of this? Legit question. Warhammer Underworlds is great, we play it every week.
