It is good to see these tips and techniques which address the finer details of the Jaguar V12. Thanks for posting!

Hi Bob, Great 2 videos on the journal bearing removal and install, excellent tooling you made for the task also.
Maybe consider cooling the new bushes in a freeza prior to installation and wave a light amount of heat in the bore (not enough to melt or change molecular structure of the aluminum, just enough to raise the bore by 10 - 20 degrees Celsius above the ambient room temp) and this should ensure your bearing bush walks in without any force on the rim face to avoid any bell mouth distortion that may occur or "dragging" of the external wall structure. this may also be a good way to remove the old bushings so that "dragging" does not occur thus damaging the internal Diameter of the bores which may be hard to repair or "Clean UP" prior to the new bushing's installation. Otherwise, Well done and love all your videos!!!

Thanks Derek. The bushings install without a great deal of force. Removing them is the part of the process that takes a little work.

All great info Bob, thanks as always. Is there a rolling road near you that you would recommend for our V12's (SW Minnesota, NW Iowa) I'm getting a Emerald ECU from Tom Lenthall Ltd. and it will need tuning. Thanks!

Off topic…. What attracted you to the Lenthall Emerald ECU over the Ole Martin Mobeck kit?

@@thecampchaoschronicles9567 I live in north western Iowa. Yet to find one in Des Moines. So looking in your area. If you have a specific company familiar with the v12, let me know.

Lots of tuners but no one with V12 experience. Sorry. We're on our own.
