The currry pampered debate? Stupid. He isn’t slandered in media constantly like harden you know why Joel? He’s a good dude. He’s humble and never makes a fuss. Never a controversy. Everywhere where harden walks he sets of nuclear bombs. I love hardens game but he gets what’s coming to him with regard to slander with the way he acts regardless of his skill.
And I'm going to just add this that's a complete lie. In those two years after Kevin Durant left in the warriors were really bad the world literally shitted on Steph Curry they said he was only good if he had good players around them they said you can't set a billion in one screen then at the end of last season when he was going crazy and led the league in scoring he literally propelled himself past all the criticisms that's why he doesn't get criticized as much as people do others just because I proved everybody wrong he can do it with a lot of help and he can do it with minimal help

@@alonzobarajas8704 Biggie was in my top 5. Personal favorite. 2pac is in my top 10 I wasn’t personally much of a fan but his impact in rap and all the great work he’s done makes him easily top 10. I don’t get mad when people claim he’s the goat. He has the resume for it. 2 diamond selling albums… pac was ridiculous. As far as ice cube… cube has some amazing albums, and records… but I don’t think he has the resume to be put in the top 5… imo he isn’t better then Jay z , Nas , Eminem , Biggie ( I know Biggie had only 2 albums but his impact and replay value are to great for me to leave him off… and then Lil Wayne in my opinion easily has a top 5 career, run in rap history. Classics in the album game … and he has multiple mixtape classics… hard to argue against Wayne and his dominance/impact.
It’s nice to enjoy a basketball conversation with guys who actually know the NBA, but also make it feel like you’re just chopping it up with the boys.

Riv getting mad defensive about Steph😂 Having "help" has nothing to do with if they were drafted or not. Steph has had hall of fame help on his teams at all times (and when he didnt the team was ass). The KD Warriors are the greatest team of all time and Steph played a huge part in bringing KD in. Also playing with Dray Klay and KD at the same time without injuries is obviously more help than having 1 superstar teammate each year over the course of a decade. What matters is the amount of years WITH star teammates, not the amount of different star teammates. I would argue that its even better to have the same 2-3 star teammates every year than having a revolving door of stars.

Why does it always seem that whichever of the warriors big 3 is hurt or out suddenly becomes the most important piece of the puzzle? I feel like any two of them should be able to carry a team to a good regular season record but they haven’t shown that.

I think I can say that a lot of us Magic fans would tell you that Markelle is by far the best PG we have on the team right now. He’s been restricted since returning but Suggs and Cole have yet to show the control Markelle has at this point.

1. not saying steph don't deserve criticism but this idea that he deserves any hate for playing with one team is the dumbest take. EVERY STAR player would love to have stephs situation , Lebron does it all the time when he goes to other teams , he plays GM and build the teams he wants, he ok's the people who come to the team. Steph waited and played for an organization that eventually made moves and got players that could play alongside and grow with steph NOT STAR PLAYERS just regular players who are good in a specific area. Why would he leave a situation where he's already won, where he's already said he wants end his career in that jersey it's much more than "Is this the best situation for me" "is dray and Klay coming back" dude thats a terrible take.
You also brought up Harden "oh so you think Harden should've stayed in Houston".....yes maybe Harden should've stayed, maybe he should've stayed loyal to that organization or not and see what happens. I'm not knocking the dude but he's played with way more talent by bouncing around other teams and HE HASN'T GOTTEN CLOSER TO A RING, but lets hate on steph because he believes in the organization , they've done right by him, he's remained patient, and he's been rewarded for it. Thats such a terrible take.
2. Steph, Dray and Klay together make each other better and mask each others weaknesses. They grew together they were drafted there, you can't use that argument as if that's a negative, *ITS A TEAM SPORT* . This is what I find funny about alot of the criticism that comes Stephs way , do people realize that every player has weaknesses and you need another compliementary player to mask or improve that area of the team. They built each other and made each other better in a team sense and individually. Steph has carried teams , he's went off in playoffs even before 2015 and for not for his early injuries he would've went off earlier.
When you bring up the 2019 finals steph averaged 30 , "bUt hE dIDn'T hIt the bIG sHoT" , you mean the fact that steph was boxed in one for most of that series with barely any help from the bench Steph and Klay had to be on that whole series, a series that i dont remmeber Draymond even being a factor in, klay went down. You lose it happens but this idea he didnt show up is ludicrious he averaged the number on his back....he just didnt hit that shot. But this idea that he doesn't carry or he isn't made for those moments is dumb.
3. Joel your not watching warriors play, Steph is playing decent but the team as a WHOLE is in a slump. Klay is still trying to find his way but everyone else isn't playing to the standard that they were playing at earlier in the season even when draymond was there before he went down. Evernyone and there moms know that Wiggins is not an allstar the man is a roller coaster ask any Warriors fan WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WERE GOING TO GET FROM HIM OFFENSIVELY, defense wise he's been solid. Again im not saying steph doesn't deserve criticism but there are many different factors on why that team is struggling beyond just defense and a good chunk of my blame goes toward kerr and these rotations. We still have yet to see what this team looks like with everyone healthy, we also haven't played with a true big this whole season!
I just think it's funny that Steph is getting criticism for his teams for most of his career being GREAT when it was never guaranteed. When we've seen other teams try to create great all time teams but they fall apart and fail. That should be a testament to how great of an all-time player he is.
