Hunstanton Soap Box Derby 2023 featuring music by Vex at the Bandstand

Hunstanton Soap Box Derby 2023 through the streets of Hunstanton.
Large crowds attended the 2023 70th anniversary of this event which featured around 40 home made karts some reaching 38mph as they tried to negotiate a ramp and some hay bales. Look out for the first crash at 0.55 seconds. No one was hurt.
There were age group categories and prizes were awarded at the end of the afternoon not only for the fastest but best looking kart.
Each kart had two runs and there were plenty of thrills and a few spills along the way. We were also entertained at the bandstand by Vex who performed some 70's and 80's songs.
Thanks to King's Lynn and West Norfolk Council for organising this event and to the weather for staying sunny all day.
