I really don't understand the order of all of the processes in this section of F215. In the book it makes out that BAC's are made first and then these go through electrophoresis and then would the florescent nucleotide adding bit happen?? Or are they unrelated? I just don't understand the order it all goes in :(

Hi guys, bit random, but this week i've done DNA sequencing and PCR and electrophoresis at Uni (im now at uni) and I can tell you its 10x more complicated than what OCR make it out to be so enjoy it whilst it lasts if you are studying this at Uni haha :)

+Jack A-Level TTC Just out of curiosity, which course are you studying because I have an awful feeling it might be the same one as mine!

+QuailSoup I'm actually doing straight chemistry but chose to add extra bits of genetics and medicine and forensics in there too :)

Sounds interesting! I was going for Biomedical Science snd I have no doubt that I'll run into PCR in there! Good luck with your results :)

These videos are great! Just wondering, how do we know the sequence of bases on a primer?

Hey Jack, could you make a video on nerves in the next few days? That's probably the hardest topic for me in F214.

actually, if you could do every unit 4 chapter apart from communication and respiration, that'd be amazing! If you have time of course.
