Great review. SCW has more to offer. The Grand has traffic issues with the 60. We bought sight unseen in Corte Bella which is in SCW but not privy to the SCW ammenities. Had we known we would have considered SCW instead.
Thanks cj for your comment. I've not seen Corte Bella and was wondering about the amenities there. I imagine it doesn't have the clubs that Sun City West has.
@@suncityazhomesbycarlayoung CB is overrated..new management and the grounds are atrocious…amenities are limited, classes always cancelled. Which is why we looked into SCW’s rec center..was told we had to buy a house in SCW! The only great thing is the guard shack but people can circumvent that too!
Living in a retirement community is like living in the twilight zone. It’s heaven’s waiting room. People here are board out of their minds. Your business is everyone’s business. Perfect houses horrible people, the 55 plus or 45 plus is a sales thing. Everyone is at least 75.

It's hard to say,they both have very appealing features. Are the older homes in SCW alot less energy efficient or is it not that big of a difference?
