New to your channel and now I'm addicted. I'm a com. SEL INST pilot, mostly Acro. But now own a Cirrus SR 22 G2 and in the system now more than ever. I actually flew along with you on my RealSimGear Cirrus Simulator mirroring your flight level changes Atc reroute in the GPS 36 Approach into Ocala. I would have requested that too over the ILS was a great learning experience as my weakness is getting my readback to Atc correct. I fly in the New York metro area and New York TRACON is unforgiving. Once I heard New York approach giving instructions to a Cirrus pilot on VFR flight following and when the student pilot asked for an altitude change, the controller replied back sarcastically you are BFR do whatever you want. Just don't hit anybody. Classic New York. You are easy-going style is refreshing and I I earn a nugget on one of your videos. This flight from Naples to Ocala was exceptional but I have to say your daughter stole the show playing with her toys in the backseat. N500HB Keep up the good work I will be watching.
Hi Jason, just a thought….when entering your re-route, you would have had less work if you entered MOANS then hit menu and “load airway” selection for T353. That would have brought up all the possible exit points, and you’d just select PUNQU…. Less work and you’d be able to select the exit point rather than key it in. Cheers, Ron.
Just started my IFR training, whatever you did looks quite overwhelming, the workload is great with the controllers and everything else! Your kids behind are so well behaved! It’s very easy to get saturated and not being focused. I keep studying and fly more, these things has to be on an automat :) But I’m getting there! Amazing job btw!
Big thank you to your channel! I've been watching your videos since early this year, all the way through my training. I just passed my flight test last weekend and now one 150nm xc away to become a private pilot. Your videos (especially the ones talking about power on stall and landing) were a huge help!
The confidence I have in the SR22 I fly with Garmin is fantastic. No excuse to get complacent or rusty on hand flying but these planes are like mini airliners. Great video Jason!
Around the 8 min mark when you got the turn to 010 and mentioned “going towards the traffic”. It made me go back and think about various episodes with ATC. Perhaps time to revisit a few of this in the coming months and pose that question to an ATC? I think the system works best when we all understand the “why”.
Lovely flight here in your nice SR22 - Certainly more button flying than you Cessna ;-) Happy holidays to you and your family! Romain (PPL student passed solo ;-) )
Wish we could have finished our IFR in the SR20, but US restricted us to reenter without the fake C-shot. Cute girls you have. Thanks for the nice Video :-)
Developing that proficiency with avionics to quickly (and correctly) enter a new flight plan, check it and activate it requires simulator time; there'll never be enough time to learn it in the air.
Assuming minimums are similar / same, a WAAS GPS approach is more reliable and accurate than ILS. With the ILS, glideslope can more easily be disrupted or lost versus WAAS glide path.
Very cool! Made a 95 on my private written exam last week!
Your kids are great flyers. 👍👌😎. Well raised

This is the dream. Owning a Cirrus and flying my family around

Got a good laugh watching your daughter play with her toy making a big mouth face.

I really enjoyed watching your flight. Learned a few things. And your little ones are well behaved!!! Loved it all around. Thanks for sharing with us.

Great video Jason!
I just saw your fun flight in the 172 the other day. Nice upgrade!
You make it so smooth...well done. Always enjoy your skills...
Great kids!! Pilotage wasn't bad ether :) Thanks.
Awesome video. Loved all the IFR. Received my IFR single engine in May. Going for twin engine this winter. Looking forward to safer pilot month.
Very, very cool watching the maestro....sure wish I was younger & still committing lift😢
Great job, keep it up. Flying of all type is so cool.
That was lots of fun. Thanks Jason!

Awesome video, love the long flight videos
awesome video. Instrument check ride week from today !
You should be able to isolate your pax on the intercom or simply turn their volume down. Nice flight.
Enjoyed the flight. Thanks
Awesome to see the Cirrus flight! I fly a SR22 and I noticed a couple of things you did like I do. One of thing I always do is pre cue the auto pilot.
Beautiful Trip!

Why did you choose the RNAV vs the ILS?
Wish we could have finished our IFR in the SR20, but US restricted us to reenter without the fake C-shot. Cute girls you have. Thanks for the nice Video :-)
If you are ever at kfpr Fort Pierce I would love to check out your plane. I got my 8yr old som into aviation through the young eagles flights

Looks like a Navajo that departed before you!
You normally don’t arm approach mode until after you’re cleared for the approach.
This man looks very nervous.
What toy is Ella playing with?
Why did you choose GPS approach instead of ILS?
GPS LPV is more accurate than ILS. It’s always preferred
Just curious, Do you always fly from the right seat?
Nice flight, not much for scenert tho,,
Don’t make N23MZ jealous
Raise your children in the way of the Lord, and they will not depart from it. Great kids. 😊
I don’t think you gave a rationale, why were you so strongly preferring the GPS approach over the ILS?
