I would not suggest using multiple tape measures on the same project. (If accuracy is important)

I would remove everything in front of the electrical panel and keep it clean 36 inches around (that’s code requirement) including the fire extinguisher.

My Girlfriend was adamant about keeping my shop clean. She would sweep the floor while I was working, and then pick up tools and put them away before I was done with them. My shop was always clean and well organized, but a really good helper, is not always key to keeping production moving forward....lol

may I suggest, move your fire extinguisher about 10 feet from the lumber storage, ang about 10 feet from the electrical panel. Imagine trying to get close to a 400+ degree fire it grab the now 400 degree fire extinguisher. Moving it a bit away from probable sources of fire makes it less nerve racking to get to, and prevents injury while trying to get to it allowing you to limit your fire and injury risk.

Thank you for reminding me not to buy tools with my own money. I need the biz to buy a new table saw, and I just decided last week that I need to earn it!!

Awesome content! Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a tool addiction. The Struugggle is real!. On a side note, you may want to try using a selfie stick for the walk and talk moments. When moving around with the camera so close to you, it has a sort of Blair Witchy effect. Even just a foot or further than the camera is now would probably naturally dissolve the effect. Thanks for the examples and logic!

I would move your fire extinguishers away from potential fire sources. You don't want to reach near a fire to grab one.

I actually scared at the idea of orders stacking up, and people asking for more. I’m scared I won’t be able to keep up with demand, and it will leave people waiting forever, and people will start getting mad, and complaining, etc. but my solution to that is to limit the amount of purchases people can make on my Shopify store.

One option is to raise prices slightly to reduce demand to a level you can handle. Why knock yourself out building a dozen of something at $20 when you could sell 8 at 25 and enjoy the process?
Another thought: people who appreciate quality are willing to wait for it ( and pay more for it). Seek out those customers, avoid the microwave / fast food mentality.

Why do you say the customer is losing out if you are disorganized? They are not paying you by the hour.
