I js bought it for the first time, and I applied it after cleansing, I feel a burning sensation, does that cause plurging, like more acne, I may have put too much serum, is that bad. Please help
I’ve been using niacinmide for a month and I got so much acne in places that usually clear so now I stopped it but after seeing ur video wow what a huge difference I think I’ll give it a chance
I was honestly very surprised too. Maybe your skin is purging? It can lasts at least 4-6 weeks. I suggest watching videos abt purging vs breakouts to see what you're experiencing. Hoping your skin gets better soon 🤞✨
My skin got soooo bad in the beginning of using this, but after two months (!!!) i started seeing amazing results. I also had very deep pimples, which i´ve heard isn't typically purging-pimples. But the process definitely suggests that my skin was in fact purging.
From someone who was a victim of purging HAHAHA sorry for the phrasing, how long did it start from the time you applied the serum to the time your face started breaking out? Did the purging start immediately? When you applied the product did your face feel any burning sensation?
If you add too many actives at one time it will make your skin purge. And if you're skin is not used to any actives at all it will purge. (4-6weeks) It's best to get a basic skin routine (cleanse, moisturize, sunscreen) and then slowly add actives. I have acne prone sensitive skin and sadly had to learn through trial and error.
I was going to buy this right now but I'm already using the peeling solution and my skin did purge a little. I've never used this kind of products, I read your comment and decided to wait a little more time before using another product because it makes a lot of sense. My skin is not used to actives so I better go slow.
I am using this serum since three weeks with aklen acne cleanser and I was having such a stubborn acne since I was 9 years old and now I am soon going to be 15. At last I found something that really worked for me.
Ncinamide doesn't cause purge, only retinoids do. Niacinimide in the Oridinary is in a too high concentration and irritates skin for many = aggravates acne.
@@ziyad630 Dermatologists say otherwise. It causes irritation(high percentages), not purging. Irritation can cause pimples in acne prone people. Purging is caued by higher rates of cell turnover nad spots that are deep in the skin come out. Retinoids cause purging. Niacinamide doesn't cause faster cell turnover!

Mine is doing that too, I never get acne on my cheeks but using this I started getting some there. My second week of using this my scum got better but then it started looking bad again? I’ve done it for four weeks and I’m gonna use it for about another month justtt in case it’s just purging, cause I really want this product to work for me lol
i used the ordinary niacinamide for 7 moths, but it did not do anything. I was still breaking out, got big acne on mycheeks as usual . so i stopped using it.

You probably used too high concentration, 2, 4, 5 % is enough, 10% is irritating for many and irritation flares acne.

It is very normal to purge for up to 6 weeks while using Niacinamide. Don't give up! You're almost there!
