💀 Hey Skeleton Crew! Let us know which song has the most , which song has the most , and drop the time code of your favorite licks! Oh, and say hi to if you see him ;)
I had one & loved it. The only reason I got rid of it was I upped to a Phil Jones Bass Cub Pro. Almost as small & loud enough for some gigs. The Double 4 was fine for low volume gigs like acoustic coffeehouse & great for recording.
Double 4 was my first bass amp. Ideal for the small apartment I was living in. What shocks me about it these days is that I occasionally run my 5-string active Dingwall into it and the small cones totally handle the low B. It's a very capable little amp.
@@808Mark I've only used (still have) the double 4 so can't comment on next size up. I live in 19th century Belgian apartment with thick stone walls and floors so it's never gonna bother the neighbours. It's plenty loud though.
Your voice is great! You have the range, you just need to work on your pitching and tone a little for that song - which is a difficult one to begin with. I could easily see you becoming a monster lead vocalist (if you're not one already and just taking the piss out of yourself). I get that it's self-deprecating humour, but man, if you can play bass that well, use the same ear on your vox.
Don't get gaslighted by the playing or fancy sound production. If any of you here think 2, 4 inch drivers is worth paying $500 for, you deserve to be disappointed.
I dont know. I was skeptical at first but for bedroom use, my Phil Jones Bass Cub Pro which has 2x5” drivers, did not disappoint. If you’ve got the cash to burn and are openminded to try it out? Why not right? If disappointment just return it😊
I actually do small club gigs to 50-ish people with mine. It's loud enough as long as the drummer is playing with brushes or rods, or I use the direct out to go into the PA. It's a 70 watt amp that only takes up half of my carry-on luggage when flying. I liked it so much that I sold my big Hartke 4x10" cab (50 kg) and replaced it with two C4 Lites (4x5", 10 kg), and for most gigs, I only take one of them.

How loud can it get for your apartment? Enough to bother neighbors? I'm torn between this one and the next size up

Good for akala ubass fretless looking for the most similar sound to an upright?
You tested the BG 80 some days ago - is there a big sound difference or shall I keep my BG-75?
What was the song at the end of
Is this combo suitable for Jazz or reggae ?
Can this handle any overdrive/distortion pedals?
Yessss, been waiting for this! I bought a double 4, it's so cool. I love the female vocalist you use on your production tracks.
You've got a better voice than you think!! Ive got some tips hit me up ;)

THANKS JAYME
If that’s an example of what you consider bad singing, remind me to never post any of mine
I got a suitcase. My neighbor dislikes it. I should have gotten the small one.
Never liked these. Absolutely no bottom end.
They have 4 inch speakers, what were you expecting? 🤷♀️
