Hey Friends,
We are Shailja and Arvind Keprate. We are an Indian (Shimla) couple who lives in Norway (Oslo) and gives information about this beautiful country through our UA-cam vlogs. The language we use is Hindi and English for our videos. We put our heart and soul into making these UA-cam videos and hope you will enjoy watching it as much we enjoy making it. About this video -
In this video,we went outside in -18 degrees. Though in Norway temperature can go as low as -30 or even more but we experienced such a low temperature for the first time in Norway. Was it fun or not? Watch out our video to find out.

I landed in Oslo on 15th Jan and next morning wake to find the mercury fell down to -17 degrees. Swag se swagat kiya hai humara Oslo ne. Lol

-18 is nothing in Canada -30 to 40 in some areas. Canada North is -25 is normal. When we get -16 from -25 we sweat really.
Same here in many parts of Norway temperate can go as low as -40. Luckily we don't live there. ;)

Why no gloves on hand- chance of frost bite, also pump shoe required. You are taking too much risk. Keep hot water or some arrangement to remain safe.

Hehe. This is really very simple - In the sports shop you will find much more comfortable gloves and not least a better hat - you have to get rid of everything with cheap polyester - you will find temperature information on the right clothes and equipment. It is absolutely not necessary to freeze in Norway - you just have to choose the right equipment down to - 40

Hi guys, thanks for this lovely video. We live in Denmark and want to ask few things about winters in Norway:
How is the daylight during xmas in the region of flam, voss, Bergen. And how about snow during Xmas, actually we are planning to drive from Oslo to Bergen and spend Xmas time somewhere in the fjords.
So is it safe to drive considering snow conditions during xmas.

We visited Norway in August 2018. Such a beautiful place. We visited Stravager town, Bergen, Alesund and Flam. Each of these places were stunning. Hope to visit again and maybe see you guys.

I am liking norway culture as it promotes peace. India is really overcrowded and hence children live with parents throughout their life and this creates a lot of stress. In india parents don't respect our partners, try to create conflicts between married couples. It's, soothing to see norway culture.

Hi can you please suggest some reliable car renting companies in norway as we are travelling from India in november and we have never tried self driving in snow. Some good car renting companies with driver and cost will be extremely helpful🙏🏻
