    Putting Interlagos aside, the T1 at Cascavel is probably the most known turn in Brazil. We call it "The Big Bowl" .

      Awesome, thank you for sharing this with us. It certainly is like a big bowl and is very challenging!

    There seem's to be 2 types of AMS2 content on Utube. 1 group who enjoy the challenge of different and unusual car and track combo's and another who take their fav car round their fav track and bitch that its not the same as their fav sim.
    Nice to see you are in the 1st camp!

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you! Yes we are definitely in the 1st camp. In fact we enjoy driving all different sims as they all have their merits.

    I agree, if you own this game and have been avoiding the Brazilian and other South American stuff, you're missing out on all the best bits! I've come to really love Jacarepagua, I think it works well for a really wide variety of car classes and is always exciting. And I owned the game for months and months before I even realized there was an old historic Interlagos that's just stunning, really great atmosphere with cool old billboards and a very long, winding layout; the old Opalas on there are an absolute blast.

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому +4

      Definitely missing out if you haven’t tried the Brazilian tracks. We would love them to add the more modern version of Jacarepagua which they had in AMS 1, that was one of our favourites. We may do a new versus old video in the future.

    Great to see this video, ever since AMS1 i have being going on about these tracks.
    Sadly a lot of people outside of South America dismiss the sim as a whole because they dont know these amazing circuits and dont bother to learn either.
    I learned and spend countless hours on these tracks in the super V8 of AMS1 what a challenge yet very rewarding.
    While the classic tracks around the globe are great every sim has done them to death, i urge people to get out of their comfort zone and learn these tracks.

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому +3

      Absolutely, it is a shame that these great tracks get overlooked in favour of the regular popular tracks that everyone knows. The sim definitely has a lot to offer every sim racer.

    Great selection!
    Another one I'd mention is Velo Città, extremely fun with cars like the Roco 001, amazing flow to it.

    All great tracks yes,
    my favorite is Santa Cruz, with the 2020 Stockcars is really hard to master but a lot of fun.

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому +2

      The 2020 Stock Cars are tricky to master, but they are great to drive at pretty much any track in the sim!

    Good collection of tracks. It should be noted that both Guapore and Ibarra are available as DLC for rF2, also. The vast majority of tracks in AMS2 are really quite good. Don't let the unfamiliar names scare you away. I've been extolling the virtues of these tracks dating back to Game Stock Car Extreme. Perhaps my favorite track in AMS2 is Brazilia. It's a very long, fast track that's great fun.

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому

      Thanks Lee! Yes, this is true that those tracks were released for rF2 as part of the Reiza DLC. We also love Brasilia, especially the outer loop.

    Hi SMB, love your content as it has really helped me...Newish to Sim racing as I have got back into it and do love AMS2..recently I am having a brake lock up issue especially with the new GT1's and am thoroughly confused about the brake sensitivity setting. I keep locking up very quickly and cannot push the brake pedal all the way down as I just lock up. I have the Thrustmaster T300RS GT and the Thrustmaster T-LCM load cell pedal set...any help would be appreciated.

    • @actarusqc
      @actarusqc 3 роки тому +1

      Try to lower brake sensivity, at default it was at 50 try 35 to start, you will be able to push the brakes more harder before you'll lock the tires.

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks Varinder! Glad that you have found our content helpful and enjoyable! As mentioned, adjusting the brake sensitivity may help to reduce the lock up. The other option is to adjust the Brake Force value in the Thrustmaster software. Here you can set it to a level that you are comfortable with, then if you increase it slightly this will mean that you won’t quite get the full pedal travel and cut out amount of travel where you are locking up. Another alternative would be to reduce the brake pressure in the car setup screen so that it doesn’t lock up as easily. Hopefully this helps?

    • @sevenbelow7
      @sevenbelow7 3 роки тому

      @@SimRacingBible Yep I agree with SRB here. The Thrustmaster software is the best place, and setting your brakes up with manual calibration helped me loads. I like a stiff pedal so I'm set about 70 or 80%. Just squeeze your brake pedal to what you feel is 'your' full pedal feel. Make sure you tick the little box for manual calibration. I have also found that in-game brake settings work great for me with about 65%-35% (65% on front brakes).

    • @sevenbelow7
      @sevenbelow7 3 роки тому

      Also if you adjust brake power too much the car will not stop, so maybe nothing under 90%? I suppose everyone is different but worth a try as it's my go-to setting.

    P3 at Cascavel is suitably sideways :) Great video. p.s. for me anyway, stick-shift cars (incl stick sequential) add loads of fun with an actual stick - hanging on to the wheel for dear life while reaching for the stick brings a grin to my face. Paddle-shifting feels like cheating - as in cheating myself out of the fun.

      2 tracks ya shouldn’t sleep on are Velo Citta which is a medium speed track with some really cool elevation change,
      and a simpler one is Taruma International which is a nice easy drive, sweeping around some medium speed corners with no chicanes, just one U turn as the slowest point on the track. Great for just getting in a rhythm with a simple layout
      My favorite thing to do right now is multiclass races that would never work irl, adds a bit of chaos to the race when you’ve got F1 cars and beetles on the same grid

    • @SimRacingBible
      @SimRacingBible  3 роки тому +2

      Yes we love both of those two. We used Taruma in a previous video about 5 cars that you should try and it was great fun in the Formula Vee. It was very difficult to pick just 5 tracks as we love them all!

    Great content as usual...and love AMS2...just a quick question as I am fairly new to sim racing. I have the T300RS GT wheel with the Loadcell T-LCM pedals and in AMS2 I keep locking the brakes a bit to easily..seems to have happened recently and especially on the new GT1's...I am running everything at stock settings and am confused with the break sensitivity settings...what does it really mean and do you have any advice on helping with the brakes?
