Good videos! Thanks… I have a plinth/corbel type decorative piece in the hallway to paper around on Saturday… I’ve only papered once, and trying to get any tips where I can. I’m sure it’ll be okay in the end 😮
I just bought some glitter wallpaper from ebay, on the label is says paste the paper but this is obviously a misprint, because by pasting the paper it fell apart when i hung it, however pasting the wall yielded perfect results, so in a nutshell thin delicate papers must be hung by pasting the wall.
That would depend on the type of lining paper. If your lining paper is paper you have to paste the paper and let it rest for 5 or 10 minutes as it will expand up to 1/2" in width. If your using non woven blankstock which is a white synthetic product you could paste the wall and apply dry. Paste the wall products are synthetics and are dimensionally stable, paper products or paper backed vinyls will expand when pasted so the misty relax for 5 or 10 min. If you have peel and stick save yourself some misery and paste the wall first. It sticks and hangs better. I'm a 40 year experience professional paperhanger.
Best, simple instruction out there. Thank you!

I'm sure it will workout. Be sure not to rush the process, you've got this!
So you seal the wall with diluted paste, then you apply paste again when applying the wallpaper?

We hope our video helped you navigate the process, sounds like you have a great finished product, and sparkly too!
So the "paste the wall" method works on lining paper? I wasn't sure if the paper would absorb the paste.
