Captain Gilad "The Giga-lad" Pellaeon in the Acclamator Leveler
Now that the Acclamator is SCO'ed a hero variant has been made. Taking some inspiration on existing SCO Imp frigates it features a burst ability to fire a spread of Ion-Pulse Missiles for it's standard missile launchers where the standard SCO Acclamator has a burst of torpedoes. However also taking inspiration on vanilla's Acclamator the ship has a single torpedo launcher in the raised center part of the ship which also grants it slightly more HP thanks to having an additional hardpoint over the standard Acclamator. The ship is also currently the sole Imperial ship to carry grey Imperial ARC-170s.
She retains the weak shielding of the normal Acclamator and her laser armament is unchanged. She's not winning any awards sticking around in a 1v1 fight with a bigger ship.
Unlike Thrawn, he does provide a buff to Capital ships because naval traditionalism. This mitigates Thrawn's capital debuff allowing them to pair well together. However when Thrawn is upgraded and loses the debuff on capitals it allows Pellaeon's buff to come into effect. Commander buffs are all subject to change though so not really listing them right now. That is however the theme he'll go for as the only Imp heroes designed specifically to work together.

@@EmperorNiko oh good, I was expecting a ISD for pellaeon, but I dont mind a acclamator definitely one of my favorite ships, is he gona get a "better" ship when upgrading him?
@@EmperorNiko btw, I think you guys definitely need to make Piet and Vader sync well too, you know for the whole Death Squad and all of that.
@@djadri_z8964 We kinda already have loads of ISD heroes and not many frigate tier Imp heroes so he's ideal since in lore he had that Acclamator. The Chimaera as an upgrade path is wanted but again we have loads and it's already hard enough to try to work in ways to make them each somewhat special other than just being a name on a ship.
It's for sure a something to look into later on.
And if it wasnt too much work, adding captain Needa to form Death Squad would be sick af.
The old providence had the following weaponry
Quad Turbolasers
Single Barreled Turbolasers
Heavy Ion Cannon
Advanced Proton Torpedo Tubes
I really like the new model for it and I like the weaponry for it as it actually fits what we see in episode 3 I really look forward to seeing what the weapons and abilities will be for the other Republic and CIS warships.
It is gonna be toned down a TAD since it can beat a start destroyer in a 1v1 now 😂
@@JayTheGam3r Probably a good idea for the average player otherwise it'd be nightmare to fight against and make matches to easy if you use it. Especially if it's cheaper then a imperial class.
I'm gonna be altering the hardpoints and weaponry of every ship in the game once 5.0 drops anyway just like I did for clone wars holdouts submod so I don't mind it getting a nerf. Which by the way you should check out clone wars holdout again Canada man added in several ships for the CIS and Republic as well including a non canon original CIS cruiser as well as new hero's so it might be worth a video in the future.
But it would still beat a Venator I hope?

I wish they added the Providence dreadnought as it was legit just the Providence by twice and big and powerful.
Many have suggested but ultimately that idea was dropped I believe
Just because it was considered silly that they made a randomly larger version in SW

I’d assume so since most of the ships if not all are getting reworked. Nothing plays like 4.0 any more

So far for the Republic both the Venator and Acclamator have been reworked along with the Eta-2 added.
Yeah the venator, acclamator, arquitens and victory have all been reworked as far as I know.
Venator actually has heavy and medium turbolasers now.
Acclamator had quad turbolasers and heavy concussion Missiles but has an ability that fires a barrage of heavy Proton Torpedos.
Arquitens actually got a big firepower buff and now has heavy turbolasers
And the victory is more or less the same I think but with stronger turbolasers and it’s Missiles don’t pierce shields anymore.
I just wish there was a full on CW version of this mod… I really like RaW but this mod has much better visuals!

Can't remember but I don't think Empire At War has the Providence dreadnought in the game which is a miss opportunity to have in the remake.

@@JayTheGam3r I guess I have to tech up a bit more to gain access to it but thanks for telling me that. Love me a Providence cruiser in tier 1 because it's a nice workhorse powerful ship. The Dreadnought version will just make it more powerful. But again, thank you

Remake mod if it’s the same mod I’m thinking of, has a submod that lets ya play as Seperatist holdouts or Republic hardliners
If Providence returns, I really do wanna see how Rebel One is going to look like in 5.0; in Legends, it is a modified Providence-class with upgunned armaments and extra Recusant engines strapped on the back for more mobility in cost of its hangar.
Kinda disappointed how 4.0 just has Rebel One being a reskin of CIS Providence, while AOTR has a proper model of it.
Here's to hoping the providence is a great ship in 5.0! Because for sure, it's quite literally the worst capital the CIS have in 4.0
Worse then the recusant? Not sure about that one.
@@phoenixx913 ? Recusant is only 12-15 supply depending on the version. Flak AND point defense is extremely strong. The 12 supply one isn't that great with its slow firing ion canon, but it's still more durable than providence. Providence costs 30 supply, has targettable shield generator, and can't even use its proton torpedos unless it's 100% fully broadsided. By the time it broadsides, the hardpoint is already killed off.
Recusants not having a targettable shield already infinitely make them more durable and replaceable if it goes down, and it already provided you with enough flak and point defense.
Those Z-95 engines are decagonal...
Thise textures really remind me of Star Wars Rebels' textures.
Not to say that they are poorly made. Cuz they are not. But they do feel a bit cartoony for me.

@@JayTheGam3r both textures use a dark grey gradient in-between the armour plates instead of something sharper. The light blueish grey of the Hull is also very similar.
I personally like more contrast in EaW textures. You won't achieve the full Unreal 5 look with a game from 2005, where these matte textures work much better (even though for me everything feels too matte and too yellow there, but it's probably just me).
