God described him and govt accursed corrupted gangsters highjackers who had highjacked the nation Ghana this was disclosed on sunday morning19th August 2018 time11.05am.
When you critically examine and mine further deeper the data being presented by Okudzeto, which indicates that only about 96 licences were issued between 1988 and 2008, and a total of 57 between 08 and 16 it begets these thoughts 1. Why were we still battling with galamsey. If the number was so small such that, effective monitoring was possible like he wants us to believe, why were we battling galamsey, deploying the military, task force...etc during the previous régimes especially under John Mahama. 2. If the data presented by the honourable is anything to go by vis a vis the magnitude of the problem of galamsey encountered under JDM, then it meant that, there was a huge number of people in the mining sector and in galamsey who were not being accounted for. These numbers unaccounted for, were mining and others destroying other resources free of charge. 3. Now ponder about this carefully, how can you diagnose the primary cause of a patients ill-health to be malaria and seek to treat them for typhoid. This is the case of galamsey and treating it by banning legal properly monitored small scale mining when there is no strong data link between the two. So what is the motive here? Are we not being wrong compelled to go after legal mining in stead of galamsey just because gold from legal small scale mining is contributing to the "Gold for oil" program which has stabilised fuel prices as well Bank of Ghana find purchases which is currently anchoring the Cedi. Some people are only pushing this agenda for their own parochial political interest. Like, I have said on several occasions, IF JOHN MAHAMA BECAME PRESIDENT IN 2020, A KEY REASON WILL BE BECAUSE HE ENCOURAGED HIS PARTY TO GO TO GALAMSEY SITES TO PROMOTE THE MENACE. IF WE ARE INDEED SERIOUS ABOUT THIS FIGHT, WE WOULD HAVE ASKED MAHAMA TO STEP DOWN AS FLAGBEARER OF NDC AND NOT TO CONTEST.
You're absolutely wrong. Am not endorsing the NPP wreckless handling of this illegal mining issue in the country. NDC also did a similar thing when they were in power before Akuffo Addo came and stopped it. The irony is that the NPP government that came to stop the illigal mining and then allow it to be resurfaced to such a deadly level in the country. To me, both parties do not qualify to be given the country to govern. Mahama did the same thing, Akuffo Addo who came to stop it has allowed it and gotten to the unbearable point. Ghana needs a new bread of leadership. Made up of selflessly people like Kwame Nkrumah. People who are nationalist, who don't think only of themselves as we are witnessing from all the politicians in mother Ghana. Our mother Ghana needs a selflessly leader like president Toare in Burkinafaso. Ghana does not need any other leader and people than the current Burkinabe's president and his team. All politicians in Ghana are extremely selfish and super corrupt. I don't trust in any one to lead our motherland Ghana to where it is supposed to be.
@@sambaffour This is the problem we have; the equalisation! Must we always say they did it so we're also doing it. Where does it stop? People, they say, are the same everywhere, it's just that some allow the systems to work!
Small scale mining was banned in Ghana until 1987, when the PNDC government lifted the ban. Let's go back to the ban. All mining in the country should be done only by large companies with the expertise to mine responsibly. And all such new large scale mines should be owned 100% by the state.
"Licensing must come with capacity to monitor". Problem with Ghanaian leaders is, they throw out wisdom and knowledge from their education and act on self interest. It's important Ghanaians understand that they fact that a person is educated does NOT mean they will do what is best for Ghanaians. Vote wisely

It is so idiotic and politically motivated to equate number of mining licenses to galamsey. Granted that one could say the more licenses you issue, the more likely you would have illegal mining. However, both the NDC and NPP during their terms have issued licenses and we all know that some of the licenses were used for galamsey. Okudzeto the perpetual sanctimonious politician who would not let the police do a follow up investigation after cash was stolen from his house and car. He knows he got the cash illegally! Ghanaians should never trust these politicians, it all depends on who’s in power. Citizens have to solve the galamsey problem by empowering the youth at the galamsey centers to report to police and action groups.

Yes, let's talk about what they did in power for a longtime right now they issued less than 60 permits against the current governments over 1500 permits in 8 years so come again please ....

Should we get you some lenses to aid your poor vision
NDC from 2009 to 2016 Issued 57 licenses
As against more than 1,600 licenses between 2017 and 2024
Please, he has done that in an interview with Dr. Randy from Metro. The NDC Issued 56 new licenses in their 8 year term
Grown idiot
You guys think we are dull, we dont have the sense to reason. Why you think weve forgotten its an election year ??? Shout and screem like the prophet of baal, fire will never rain. Hypocrite... Ask Okujeto what happened to the education sector when he was a minister ? Hypocrite
You see ur stupidity? No wonder you will be the same. You are even hungry more than other Ghanaians. I curse the womb that gave birth to you
Are you sick in your head. Putin politics into this equation? Are you the only one that voted for the president
stop diverting the topic, idiot.
Oppong. An Asante? So predictable.
😂😂😂 you are beyond saving. I am sure you drunk galamsay water this morning
What does giving license and not monitoring amount to?
Hw3 de3) kyer3 bi, as if he loves Ghana than anybody. Go and account for what you did in your tenure when you were in power to the people. NDC thinks the whole of Ghana listens to TV3. You will be surprised
Yes, let's talk about what they did in power for a longtime right now they issued less than 60 permits against the current governments over 1500 permits in 8 years so come again please ....
Non sense. This is not about NDC. The purity of portable WATER should be your concern not NPP, NDC matter.
The best way to respond to such comments is to not reply them.
Let them comment on their own comments and they'll know how foolish they are
@@oppongeric117 your ignorance is showing for all to see
Your name tells where you're coming in ghana, am sure ashante
So if 11 licence were signed, so what? Is it illegal to mine in Ghana ??
U are a big fool.
Are u ok?
U are the useless and senseless human being i have ever seen on this earth
You are a fool ok
Wise up
Organized Labour should spring into action and forget about the President's games.
When you critically examine and mine further deeper the data being presented by Okudzeto, which indicates that only about 96 licences were issued between 1988 and 2008, and a total of 57 between 08 and 16 it begets these thoughts
Don't defend Wormawor why should enter the Police car and for what. Ablakwa you're first corrupt MP.Why are you dodging accountability in your constituency
You see your dirty mindset??????????
