I've had 6Rotties, with cats and children...not mine but friends', and NEVER had a problem. It is true that I did French ring sport with them so they were all well trained/educated. I'm 75 and will be getting a 6 year old Rottie around May. He us a champion in ring sport a and an absolute doll! I just hope he will be okay with my "free ranging" cats. I LOVE forties.!!!!!
Just a quick question. Did you ever deal with both a male that was intact and one that was neutered. If so were both equally as obedient and safe around animals and children. Thanks
@@stephenclark8662 yes and yes. It is all in your leadership.
I have a friend who has had as many as 6 intact male rotties in her house at once. All were exceptionally well behaved. They were all out at one time. And were actually certified therapy dogs that do something called READ (Reading Education Assistance Dog). They visit schools and libraries to help kids learn how to read.
He larn them real rule

@@stephenclark8662 no sorry I only had intact males and females.
I understand about the increase of exercise but what if you leave for work at 5:30-6:30 am? I really do have to be honest I don't wanna be up at 3 am outside with my dog throwing a ball in the pitch dark. I let him out for 30 minutes every single morning. But everyday when we get home the house is destroyed. But he's still young. Only 10 months.
Work em out. Flirt pole. Spring pole. Walks. Sprints. Swimming. Weight pulling. Etc. A tired dog Is a happy dog
Too true!
But not before 1 or 1 1/2years old. Big dogs shouldn't do strenuous training when they're young. It's very bad for articulations.
Do you have a program for Rottweiler, I'm getting a puppy and I want to raise him the best possible way .
If you have one does it includes a guide for commands and tricks and all of the things to raise my Rottweiler well?
Nothing Rottweiler specific yet but we do have our Perfect Puppy course which would be fully applicable: www.fenrirdogtraining.com/p/perfect-puppy-course
I would have a suggestion for a new category in all of your videos, namely how strongly the dogs smell drooling in relation to sweat and of course which breed would be best for dog allergies
Great suggestion, thank you!
thank you for considering
Super hard dealing with my rottie
A Rotti is not a 'bracelet' ... they are your 'guru' ! 🙏😉
Quick question if I wanted a Rottweiler with a tail would it have to be a German one in not an American
The Rots with nubs have had their tails "docked",which is a removal process. Has nothing to do with lineage. Hop on ebay or amazon and get a couple books on the breed. Watch this man's videos. Rottweiler's are not for everyone. Good luck Bryce.
You can find ones in the US and Canada that are not docked. You will need to look for ADRK breeders. Their dogs are usually very drivey dogs that need an owner with great leadership skills. And there are also American Rottweiler Club and Canadian Rottweiler Club breeders out there that are no longer docking. You just have to look.
Question please. Why the Rottweiler ears gos funny when they teething. And they will go right after teething or they will be always in a funny way. And what we can do to fix it please?
I got my rottie at 6 weeks instead of the recommended 8-10. Do you think this is why my puppy is proving hard to train?
I gotba rottsky at 6 weeks, she is 2 months now and has made good progress in her trainings. Ik the breeds are different, but I just stayed super consistent on everything and she's been learning pretty quickly
Oh shit this says 8 months ago my bad lol, well if you see these comments than how is your rottie now??
@@Thicccbankai it's her first birthday today 🎉😍🎂❤️😀
@markbellew4194 that's amazing! I truly hope she has/had an amazing birthday! My girl was born 5/8/2023, can't wait til her first birthday ❤️
@@Thicccbankai enjoy, it's hard but worth every minute
My 4 year old Rottweiler started to chew his plastic tray in his tray he never done this before
I know this is not 100% related to this vid - Nonetheless I have 3 Rotties; and one of them is somewhat temperamental. I think it has something to do with the fact that her front left paw is defected and when playing with her I have noticed that her bad paw does hold her back. She is very needy and she can be extremely destructive. Do you think physical disability would constitute a “macro” problem. I love my Rottie and feel great empathy for her ( I myself only have one hand and am wheelchair bound). I do keep her away from my kids and their friends - but I suppose what I am getting at is: will my Dog’s disability become a liability; as far as temperament is concerned; as time goes by?
I can't answer your question...but I'd suggest finding games that won't tax her bad paw...I get VERY temperamental when my arthritis acts up and don't want to move...lol!
@@gailgreenberg6953 LOL. Fair enough... Thanks Gail
