      How do to use the Kirkland signature it lets out air from the lid

    • @seansvid
      @seansvid 8 років тому +3

      I had the same problem. Apparently the Kirkland Signature brand bottles were recently redesigned to reduce plastic content and the caps are now thinner and weaker. They would only hold about 15 psi. I bought another brand of water bottles from Safeway today and they also had the thin, weak caps so it seems the new design may be fairly common. I used some older bottles with the regular caps and they worked great. I hope I can find more of these.

      I know it looks cool and all branding it, but it's a bit of a waste of printer ink printing out that metal pattern that gets discarded anyway.
      You should look into simplifying it because it can add up to being somewhat expensive wasting ink if you're mass printing them out.

    I tried it out with my 30.06 and it was great. I practice at a thousand meters and it takes a little bit more than a second to reach the target. it makes for a fun bullseye confirmation. I have an idea to use an old man hole cover of mine to make a "dartboard" of sorts by drilling a 1 inch hole in the center and placing the bottle behind.

      The bottle isnt that close to ur face to the sound disperses more quickly as having it blow up when ur pumping it up will definitely put a ring in your ear

  • @MrRolnicek

    If I played Airsoft, I'd definitely use these in a "destroy enemy base" or something game rule. Everyone gets a nice notice that the target has been destroyed.

    Used this one in last year's new years! A bit of a save(ish) solution for children wanting to set off fireworks on their own, but not having them burn themselves. It did take me alot of pumping that night though, but hey, it was fun!

    Curious if you can determine the shock pressure of the bottle exploding? Would it be enough to set off binary targets or .22 sensitive binary targets?

    You can also purchase an air fitting extender. Normal uses are for making it easier to fill semi trailer dual tires and are usually six to ten inches with a wire braided sheath. This would allow you to connect to the air valve and connect the pump from a side location rather than having to load from the bottom.

      That's what I was thinking too. That way I'd only have to connect and disconnect the hose once instead of every time I go through a bottle.
