I put this comment here to always remember my grandma too anytime someone see this do like this comment so immediately someone like this after a year I will remember 🙏. Qdot more Success
I'm not a Nigerian but the Subtitles make me understand this song, can't believe his Grandmother went through all of those hardships 😫(sighs). Am sure she is in Paradise right now❤️❤️❤️.
From Qdot's music, his lyrics and vocabulary, you can tell that he grew up with agbalagba. This tribute to his grandmother is epic. He is redefining how we transfer our culture from one generation to another with music. I have gotten my teenage children to listen to his music several times. One said, his music always makes sense. Exactly. His music makes a lot of sense always. Omo Alagbe, may Oduduwa continue to strengthen you and take you to heights beyond human comprehension. Wàá dàgbà.
No doubt , Qdot you are an African legend musician, all your tracks are evergreen and moreso this MORIAMO track is an unbeatable . This got me shed tears again like i have not listen to the mp3 before . It's good not to forget the person that did not allow the world to forget us .
The journey/story is real. Your authenticity got me emotional. This is deeply rooted in culture. Glad we still have your genre of music deeply speaking to our culture. Much love Alagbe; rest on mama.
This is my story. The only difference is that, I went to play football when my grandmother died. I felt it while playing and stopped, went straight home only to see people outside crying. I went inside to hold her for some mins because they said she not 100% dead. I left the room when the doctor arrived to check her. After some mins, he said she’s dead. She took care of me since I was 11months old till I turned 18yrs. May her soul rest in Jannatul Firdause 🙏🕊🕊🕊
I have been alive for about 3 decades and no song brings me close to tears each time I listen to it as much as Moriamo does. By far the most deep and original song I have listened to till date. I can't thank you enough for documenting this piece Qdot. One thing we should take away from this song is "We were all formed from the dust and to it we shall return" ❤❤
I love this song. It reminds me of mother's love. My mother passed through hell to train me alone. Though, she's still alive but this song makes me love her the more....
