We have gone from being a sleepy coastal city to a modern and vibrant mega metropolis in a matter of 20 years, the second most visited city in the US. There are neighborhoods and neighbor "hoods" just like in any other major city in any country on the planet. But, for the most part, is a clean, modern and very attractive city. Very few homeless people around the down town area (proportionally Miami-Dade county has less homeless people than Stockholm Sweden) Tourists visiting major European cities for example, are fascinated by nice and well appointed downtowns. But when you step outside, you encounter poverty, dilapidation, homelessness and trash. So when you are defining "reality", you need to look everywhere under the hood.

Went there in 2019 and stayed at the Colony hotel! god damn i miss it there! The colony was under construction at that time, so i didn't get to see the colors like this! thanks for the video! really!
I spent a month on vacation in Miami Beach, it was the best vacation ever, but after returning back to my home country I started to feel depressed and wanted to go back. Miami Beach is a dream, everyone who is born there is incredibly lucky and if you have a personality like mine, you better not even go there, you will only regret it..
We just came back a couple of days ago. While its beautiful, visiting in the summer was difficult. Being from southern CA I can take the dry heat but this humidity was bad. I'd go back but it would have to be in the winter. Summers are unbearable.
