Great stuff. Just so you know the hinge from the tailgate and the one from the tipping part are very short and difficult to put back without chipping the paint... Have fun Harolyn
Interesting you decided to take off the tailgate Juan. When I restored mine, I read up on it as it looked as if the hinge had been painted over, and sure enough, Lesney painted the whole rear compartment totally assembled! Anyway, nice job mate

Did you two of these together Juan? It was maybe just the lighting, or the camera, but the colours kept changing.😁 Light, sometimes dark blue, and the grey kept changing to white. As you were building it, I thought you were off a bit with your colours but, in the end, perfect.
And they say the camera never lies.😁 Very strange.
I have thought before that it would make a perfect pencil sharpener, nice seeing someone actually try it out.👍👌😁
As for that decal, display the truck the other way round - simples!! 👌😁

The color changing is the camera. It's usually on auto, so as I move back and forth the focus changes and chooses whatever hue it wants, usually more blue or more yellow. I've noticed that happens more often since I've got the green cutting mat so I'm guessing it's trying to adjust the excess of green... I usually lock the focus at the end so I can adjust hue, contrast and lighting myself...As for the pencil sharpener, every time I've seen somebody doing this casting the only thing I can think is "Has nobody realized that it looks like a pencil sharpener???" so I've had to do it myself to find closure lolol. Yes, the damaged decal is facing the wall lolol. The blue commuter was spray painted blue before I got it so it's not original. Happy New Year Dougie. All the best my friend
@@MatchboxResurrection Yeah, I had a feeling it was down to the camera. We just got a quick glimpse of the Commuter and the blue looked like factory paint but, on second look, you can tell right enough.😁 It's an oddball vehicle. As a kid, I could never tell which way it was going.😂
@@2H80vids lolol Funny you say that. I've done the vid already and you'll see how many times I'm struggling to know which way the things are going lolol
The change in the lighting is due to the white balance setting, if left on auto it usually does this, the camera continuously try to figure out the color tempreture. If you set it for example 5400K it will stay steady. Happy new year!

It looks like the decal was ripped before I put it in the water. There was two small pieces floating in the water... Very strange... Thanks Mark
The stinker in us wants to add 'Ethnic' to that 'Cleansing Service' decal on account of we was around in the '90s when that became a 'thing'...
