If you live in Oakfield full time, you get a check yearly for $2200 each fall. Smart town negotiated with wind generator folks and every year round resident for 20 years gets that check. Brand new fire department too thanks to the turbines. They do create jobs and someone has to run the grease gun, change the red light bulbs @GRichardH ! Thank you for commenting!

Maine is a real Beautiful state but you don’t want to live there! My great grandmother lived and died there, my grandparents the same and my mother and I grew up in Maine and it is a very beautiful state but it is not a state you want to live in. I know, why? No good jobs, run by idiots, no more bags at the stores as it’s now against the law. It’s like living under Hitler. Did I mention my brother lives there? It’s a vacation land use it for that purpose and you can love it.
