Kid, you are the man!! I'm a retired police lieutenant and used to teach the DARE program many many years ago. What you're doing (fishing and videoing) is called a "positive alternative to drugs and alcohol." Your parents should be really proud of you!! I know I am! Check out John Skinner's videos on tog fishing. He is the master of tog. stripers and a flounder God! You have a ton of personal knowledge and will only get better and better by studying the masters and adding your own style/methods! Keep the videos coming!!
Also big fish will not hit that power pro tide straight to. Always remember if you can see it so can he. When I'm Jetty fishing I use size 1 J Hooks Beholder eagle claws from Walmart. Try the snafu rig bait does not sit up off the bottom and bigger Tog know that. There are still tied in the Shark River Jetty Southside. Move about halfway out and start fishing straight on down the line to the tip.
Couple rules of advice man. 1 try to find a cheap pair or jetty korkers spiked sandals or a pair of ice cleats to go over your shoes. It will prevent you from slipping. Rule 1 safety. 2. shop online if you can or make your own blackfish 1 hook rigs rather than 2 it will save you time and you won’t get hung up in the rocks as much and I would advise using leader minimum of 30lb to 50lb line with a 4/0 octopus hook of any brand. Keep up the hard work man. I gotta get me a go pro soon myself.
I’m at LBI off the causeway catching all kinds of shit. Using a few shoestring eels 6-8” for bait and 2 python eels to save for shark fishing. Caught some decent sized bluefish, some croakers, a few stripers, and a 4’ shark on the ocean.
Just the way the rug came, really wasn’t prepared lol. But just tied two dozen dropper loop rigs with 50# mojo leader, tried them last week and worked great. Me and my dad pulled up 13 fish. Btw love your instagram, I’ll check you out on YT asap. Thanks for watching!
Yeah a lot of shorts everywhere, I fish most of the jetty’s our front, this spot is just the easiest access when I’m just looking to catch fish. Thanks
Jetty fishing for them is a lot of fun :-) You should try a lighter jig (Talking about an ounce or less)..... they should just pick it up and run with it long enough for you to feel it and set the hook
Dude. I'm already a huge fan. I grew up in your same town. Now live in Brigantine. Check out how we roll on my boat "Reaper" at ReaperFishingNJ on the tube.
Cut your crab with scissors. with that knife you're just breaking that she'll apart and that's why they're stealing it so easily. They are still masters of stealing bait you're just helping them out. Fish on good luck man.
I think why the tog steal the bait is because of your hook. for example when i go fluke fishing i usually catch big fish like skate flounder and dogfish but flukes are hard to catch because the sea bass are too small in some areas for the size hook and they always steal the bait so those tog were a little to small so i think you should use a medium sized hook. from my experience the small fish take the bait from the bigger hooks with no problem also nice video
It’s not that bad lol. It’s a hard to get to spot. And when I fish it there’s normally a ton of other people around. I’ve fished there atleast 3 dozen times and have had no problems yet
Crocodile dundee knife lol good video bud
Lol thanks for watching
The beginning edit of your video was sweet, very smooth. Good work!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed
Np brotha! I’m new to posting videos, help me out with a subscribe, I’ll Return the favor. Stay safe, tight lines!
What else bites in October that can be kept? Not driving 4 hours for a shot at 1 keeper
Nice video. Gonna fish the ac jetty soon
Thanks for watching! Good luck

Dillon L. Fishing your still young give it time my friend.
Hey nice spot if u don’t mind was that all the way down pass the Tropicana casino? Or was it the other direction next to showboat and hard rock?
Its more on the inllet side
PUT THE BIG BAIT FOR THE BIG FISH
I'm stuck in the cornfields of the Midwest, but it's great to see you guys getting that October bite. Tight lines!
What type of surf rod is that blue one

You gotta put some leader on bro. 30-40 lb mono should help u get that big one outta the rocks
Yeah did that this weekend. Stupid move of me not to have leader, but as I said in the video I forgot to prepare (I only brought one rig)
@@dillonfishing it happens, keep at it, you'll have more fish than you'll know what to do with
One dayyyyyyy...one dayyyyyy... one dayeeyay
where's this jetty at?
Not Atlantic city
wow I knew that but where exactly? Is this by the old Revel Casino area or is this somewhere else.
lol, it’s is next to the inlet
But all jetties have tog on them
i was there today...too windy and rough surf == No Fish
Bummer
The Legal Size Really Sucks
It is what it is 🤷♂️
you would save a lot crabs and rigs by using one hook. one dropper loop rig is my goto

Hey my dude been togging also in AC but on the jetties in front of the flagship its tough, but a lot of fun. Keep on fishing, good stuff.
Yeah a lot of shorts everywhere, I fish most of the jetty’s our front, this spot is just the easiest access when I’m just looking to catch fish. Thanks
@@dillonfishing where is this one. I want to avoid crowds on the other jetty’s
I think I fished off the same spot. Lol
Nice Video
Thanks I appreciate it
Nice video. Try dropping the crab legs in the hole you are fishing. It can make them bite better.
Thanks , I normally do just don’t show it on camera
Good luck to you young brother. Keep em coming.
Thank! Tight lines
Let me guess, you got the crabs from One Stop Bait & Tackle.
Yessir

How about buying a pair of scissors instead of hacking the crabs apart with some giant knife...
I have scissors but I guess I just forgot them this day, the knife works fine as well, though.

Will do. Thanks for the support

Can u fish for a great white shark please
Sebastian Benson flagged for hate speech
Nice 👍🏻
Thanks man👌🏼
Set the hook
I like how you fish
You should try setting the hook a little harder
I tend to set the hook harder when I feel a stronger bite, no reason for my to yank the hook that hard on the little ones.
Not a keeper
Be careful fishing there, terrible area
That's a nice phone ya got there laying on that rock
See kid here is one of those atlantic city nut jobs in the comment section
