Brand new subject matter for you! I loved the care you had for the eye. Did you see these at he zoo with Allie? I hope you all had fun. Maria, do you do all your painting in the studio or maybe a little plein aire? I've tried a little but find I enjoy doing it with the grown children who paint their own renditions with me. That way the passersby don't focus on any one painter but travel right along. Less pressure that way. I just wondered. We spread ourselves out on blankets in the shade on the boardwalk one late summer early Fall at the Springs, (a fairly close place in the mountains) and there were a number of people walking along on their way to the top and taking photos of the autumn leaves while we stayed below painting the myriad of little waterfalls and bubbles on the pond with floating fallen leaves. It was fun. The crowds came by on their way back to look at our finished paintings. I think they were pleased overall. That's always nice too. - - - we rarely see the ones that paint so it was wonderful to be together and all having a common interest. Every painting was uniquely our own. Thanks for sharing as always! Hmmm, we haven't been to the zoo in ages. Maybe that should be on our list. Tulip fair next week if the weather is good enough. Enjoy your Spring!
