Yes ... e.g. buzzer beaters in NCAA tournament. Putts in golf that go in on the last hole to win/tie. Thinking right now of the bomb putt Justin Leonard holed to clinch the Ryder Cup for an amazing come-from-behind win. A much larger crowd went nuts, players running onto the green, etc.
@@danlewis1885 dude this was the last hole of the WORLD championship and he made a near impossible shot to force a playoff. David freeze hit a game tying triple with two outs and two strikes in the bottom of the 9th in an elimination game in the 2011 World Series. Tiger woods made a birdie putt in the 18th hole of the us open to force a playoff. Dozens of basketball games in the do or die March madness tournament have ended on full and half court buzzer beaters. I thought the same thing. Way better than the PGA vs Phil crowd last month 😂
Agreed
Mhm. I was raving right after live coverage about how respectful the gallery looked while going ballistic like that. Like, for it being a major tourny gallery, on the final hole, with THAT miracle shot of epicness... I'd say they did quite well. ❤
@@jollygreenian8832 This is a great example of a load of drop outs trying to create "sport" because they fit into no other, they all look the firthest people from sporty or athletes that there is, complete imbacils.

What a pure reaction. What an incredible privilege to be there right in front of the basket when it happened. You can tell people that you were right there to see the greatest shot in disc golf history. Amazing. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Pure Magic!
Disc Golf history. I can't wait until "Farting In The Bathtub" becomes a recognized sport after this.
can anyone think of a more clutch moment in sports history??? i can't
Yes ... e.g. buzzer beaters in NCAA tournament.
It's the equivalent of tying game 7 of the NBA finals with a full court buzzer beater, or a 99 yard TD on the last play of the Superbowl. You clearly don't understand sports at all.
Several playoff football games have ended on final second Hail Marys and incredible 90+ yard running plays... this disc shot was epic, but with higher stakes and a lot more $$$ on the line , there have been a lot of amazing sports moments.
@@shootyhoops387 Throwing in to an unprotected basket is not "near-impossible". Unlikely, yes, near-impossible, no. This was a "World" Championship where 99.9% of international players stayed home because of COVID travel restrictions. I understand sports, you just seem to not know about other great moments. E.G. the interception on the goal line of New England/Seattle on the last play to save the win. Another SuperBowl where last play of game a guy on Tennessee IIRC is going in for a TD and is tackled on the 1 yard line. Constantino Rocca sinking a putt from the "valley of sin" on the last hole at St. Andrews in The Open Championship to tie John Daly. Tiger Woods birdieing the last hole of US Open to force a play-off which he would go on to win. Plenty of others in golf. Any overtime goal to win a Stanley Cup (and there have been several). I could go on-and-on.
This is like if Jamie Vardy won the title for Leicester with two stoppage time goals on the final match day
I'm still more impressed with amount of people there to watch this.
Did anyone else hear that witch in the background saying "in the hole" right as James let go of the disc. Definitely creepy! Someone said on Paige Pierces last shot some girl said fly left and the disc went straight Ob for Paige. Definitely creepy! Review this.
I reviewed and its very creepy. Its like a ghost with a raspy voice says
"Get In" and than you hear a old creepy swing.. Weird........
Its about 15 to 20 seconds into the video
@@izumik283 I hear the same thing
Lmao what? A random lady in the crowd said get in the hole right after he threw the disc. What is so bizarre about that
@@HaikesXO youre not listening close enough. Listen closely from 15 seconds to 20 seconds. You can hear a creepy voice right before the swing set noise.. Thats literally right before he throws. I can hear the Lady yell.. Just play it back a few times and listen close
Another perspective of the magic. Thanks.
If you ever feel lonely, just remember that somewhere there are thousands of people going bananas over guys playing frisby and you’ll automatically feel a thousand times worse.
Well that was epic so many people so excited! Awesome
Ive only watched two holes live of disc golf and this hole was one of them
Thanks for uploading
I'm more supprised at the size of the crowds rather than the throw/shot thing
It helps to know the context and the stakes of the shot for sure. Because any good “A league” or better ultimate frisbee player can make this throw. However, what a cool moment.
No. Not under this pressure from that far away. Maybe once in a hundred shots.
Wow man. I can't believe you filmed this!
First time to watch I'm liking what I see I'm hooked
0:55 is Randy Marsh and you cannot tell me otherwise
Holy Moly Disc golf crowds are awesome!
Awesome shot! The officials did a great job of clearing the course and settling down the crowd. Still, the crowd reacted appropriately and joyfully! THAT was a moment.
Look at all those people!!! Those guys must have huge families!!
The crowd reaction was unwarranted.
Incorrect. This was the last shot of the world championships to tie McBeth. Conrad won in a playoff. It was very warranted.
Still one of the craziest things to sit back and watch.
I still remember letting my wife drive so I can watch. Then I looked up for a sec to see the gas station prices and heard chaiiiins. I said no way as I saw the crowd . Made my whole vacation awkward because I had brought my basket with me to the lake and couldn’t shut up about his shot. Good times. It’s like … Where was you when Conrad made the greatest shot ever?
Dude the Happy Gilmore crowd I love it
I have NEVER seen that many Frisbee nerds together in one place!!!!
I love this sport, it's another opportunity for me to honk in the middle of someone's backswing as I drive by
This is the best shot of all time but unless you watched the event you wouldn't know why.
Glad I got to see this live on UA-cam, awesome moment to see in the moment!
I had no idea disc golf had this kind of a following. Nice to see.
That disc needs to be in museum
My god. They'd make anything a sport these days
This never gets old.
You found and reunited all the background cast of HAPPY GILMORE!!!!
So was this like a walk off homer or just sending it to extra innings?
i like how the guys who were suppose to keep the line ran in after the holeN1, celebrated, then made sure everyone got back lmao
Great shot, but I'm more amazed at that crowd size for frisbee golf! Haha. I apologize, but I had no idea it had THAT kind of a following. Cool!
The pandemic caused disc golf to grow massively. I remember in 2020 how hard it was to find a disc that you wanted because of how much demand there was - companies couldn't keep up with it.
The first woman to yell “get in the hole” made this seem like something off of happy Gilmore , followed by guy with American flag board shorts
This is some serious tiger woods shit.....epic.....I don't play ut this was the 1st torny I watched and I'm hooked.
What course was that?
There are a lot of fans there. Like as many as real golf.... what tournament is this?
